Tottenham Hotspur Stadium - Licence To Stand

I’ve seen comments about the view of London from the Skywalk being ruined by the hotel complex. But I think anyone who has done the Skywalk would probably say that the views are pretty rubbish really. There are far better viewpoints elsewhere if what you are looking for is a view of the London skyline. The Skywalk is great for Spurs fans and it’s not because of the London views, it’s the badger and the view down into the stadium. I expect the club have modelled that the Skywalk as an attraction has a limited lifespan for non-spurs fans (Spurs fans will always want to do it) and the hotel will far recuperate and exceed any losses elsewhere. I agree the approach view of the stadium may be spoilt - but does that really matter? If you are coming to the stadium anyway, there’s no real loss other than an aesthetic one.
Good planning by the board and another string to our bow.

Yeh exactly, you are not going to do it as a non Spurs fan or the numbers that do are minimal. People will do it as an add on if they are attending a conference at the club but to travel 30 mins out of town for worse views than in town you ain't.

Unless you’re talking about comments elsewhere, that’s probably referring to mine. All I said was it’s a shame it’s on the south side as it detracts from the view.

Few different angles

Schwancky and Novo Brutalist all in one go. Haringey meets Harkonnen. Would be very Blade Runner-ish with a bit of rainy smog swirling around.

In that top pic, the dude in the hat (bottom left) is still hanging around from the early stadium renders. He was equally lost looking indoors.

Mind you, not as puzzling as Blue Dress Lady and Grey Jacket Dude in other early renders. I couldn't quite work out who was stalking who.

Clubs getting panned for the 50% of ticket price for careers rule now. Think its only for Premium ticket holders to cover F&B costs

Exactly, it's no real loss. The only real external thing that was pointed out on the Skywalk when I did it was Ally Pally and they could have been showing me a derelict building for all I cared and the aesthetics of it.

The view of the ground, the experience of climbing your team's stadium, the walk around the badger and The Edge are the real selling points of the attraction.

Have to say this sounds not good.
I don’t like the removal of the Senior concession but it would be useful if the club gave some more info on ST holder demographics and how that is likely to impact on ST revenue in coming years (I.e % of adult STs likely to convert to concession) if kept in place.
But introducing a big uplift for carers is not a good look - but again, it’s Premium rather than GA - what are the reasons behind it? Food and drink can’t be that much? End of day, the club are not obliged to justify their commercial decisions, but if they provided a bit more colour it might help diffuse some of the backlash. Not all of course, by any means.

Need to build a casino as well ... just milk the fans of everything for following football. We will have the most profits .... get in.
