These jokers…

Not the only alternative. Some are sports fans/ people that have made it. Not many but an alternative does exist instead believe it or not.
How many people are smart enough to earn the £Bns required to buy a football club but dumb enough to lose it all on buying a football club?

I’m equally perplexed and annoyed as you that we’re taking so long. But it’s almost like you’ve forgotten we dithered in the past when it comes to managerial searches with Levy in charge. How many managers did we look at before eventually bringing in Nuno who ultimately flopped anyway? Ange wasn’t our first choice before we approached and subsequently appointed him.

I totally get the criticism at the current regime but some are acting like it was wildly different under Levy like we were always this well-run outfit that never dragged its feet in hiring managers, sacking them, signing players etc. it’s actually incredible how much leeway he got from people on here 😂
Under Levy we went from a club where seasons like this were not all that rare, to a club with such high expectations that we all immediately want a manager sacked for producing a season like this.

People really do have some very short memories (or didn't live through the horrors of mid-late 90s Spurs).

And you seem to have a short memory of the last decade. The overall trend has been down since circa 2019. That can’t be disputed.

Should Levy get an indefinite reign because he did a good job in the first 10-15 years of his tenure?

We also don’t have a winning mentality as a club, that comes from the owners and the chairman. They were happy to accept top 4 every season rather than push on to regularly compete for major honours. Almost every manager we have employed since Poch has questioned the mentality of the club.

I also question his decision making at key moments, sacking managers before cup finals, the arduous managerial searches.

If he were to come back on a purely commercial aspect with no involvement in the football side then I would be open to that. But actually running the club again and being the key decision maker in terms of football decisions? No thanks.

Employees sacked by club in slagging off the club shocker.

You seem to be of the opinion that Levy should have got every decision right. The constant warning from those of us who understand that's not possible, was that the alternative is almost certainly worse. There are thousands and thousands of football clubs, thousands and thousands of owners. There are so few being consistently run better than Spurs that you can count them on your fingers.

We did take that chance, and now it's worse.
