Tanguy Ndombele

Fair play to him making that step. Never seemed happy or settled but glad he has prioritised getting game time and getting his career on track rather than looking to rinse us.

Obviously becomes a bigger obstacle when it comes to signing a new deal somewhere but for the present it seems everyone will benefit.

So something like... if Spurs are paying him £100k and Lyon are paying Spurs £70k then Ndombele will pay £30k to Spurs.
So Spurs are paying zero net.
Lyon are paying £70k and Ndombele gets £70k.
Apart from tax issues of course.

And don't gripe about the numbers, it is just an example for GHod's sake.

Sorry your numbers are way off ... if you want to gripe ... Lets Maths Debate

Fair play to Tanguy for basically taking a paycut. Although 2.5 years on 200k a week I’m sure he can afford it!

Quite. But fair play. He could have just sat on his arse looking grumpy and getting paid. Maybe there's some desire in there somewhere after all. Here's hoping he has a storming season back in France.
