I can only assume we've barely paid any of the agreed fees and bonuses yet and if they want to keep him then it's just a write off...
Must be a decimal point missing. Or, possibly more likely, we perhaps there's something in teh background making the numbers look higher e.g. we agree that if they buy him from us, we'll pay them all the add-ons in the original deal....say thats another €20m then they're implicitly buying him back for €45m
