Haha Lewandowski! People actually think Dortmund would sell Lewandowski! And they think we'd have a chance of being the club he'd choose to go to!
Absolutely fudging ridiculous.

Really hope we don't sign Stekelenburg, very average gk with a big name. Dzagoev would be great and Lewandowski awsome, but I can't see it happening.

Yeah, I remember us being linked with Dzagoev about 5 or 6 weeks ago when he was banging in goals for Russia at the Euro's.. didn't his Dad come out and say we were interested

I thought this wad effectively squelched by his club, saying was not for sale.

Like rat face wants to? Nah it's all about the ma honey.
We aren't in the Champions' League, Modric wants to play in the Champions' League. Most top players want to, Sahin will certainly be one of them. It would be understandable for him to see us as a club incapable of providing that/challenging for trophies. If he were to spend a year with us, and AVB was a success, using him as a key player as we got CL footy and put in a good showing in at least one cup he might begin to think that this club is going places and could sign on. If we didn't qualify for the CL with Sahin in our team (and a good striker), we wouldn't deserve to keep him anyway.

Either way, Sahin is immense and if we could get him in for a season I guarantee he would be a better replacement for Modric than any other player we could ever possibly sign.

Dzagoev is going to be a superstar.

I said weeks before Euro 2012 that we should be banging down the door to sign him.

If he comes to Spurs, it would be equal to the coup of signing Modric IMO.

€26m is the rumoured fee that CSKA have written into his contract.

superb player, but how well do Russians travel? recently Pav, Arshavin and Zhirkov all failed in England and have gone back home. Arshavin was a genius at Zenit and Russia before his move to the scum, did ok there at the beginning but slowly fell away and now the scum are happy to be rid. Zhirkov was one of the worlds most highly rated left sided players for CSKA but at Chelsea he was almost non existent.

I cant think of too many Russians who has succeeded abroad. Maybe Kanchelskis back in the day for Utd? anyone else?

At which point would these journos realise we're not in the market for a keeper

i think AVB has had a look at what he's got and is happy to wait a year and then go in for Butland or Lloris. Makes sense

its freaky that Pav, Corluka, Kranjcar and Pienaar have left and yet Jenas and Bentley still remain. Will we ever get rid of these tw!ts

Vertonghen at The lane Today according to Mumorn, JJset and more importantly Ajax.

Rumours of Remy coming on Tuesday to have a look at the club but he came off injured tonight. He is having a scan tomorrow.

This is the first post in this thread, from May 13th

It is a good reminder of not letting rumour convince you it is fact!

Perhaps they're not soft mercenary tacos who moan after 2 consectuive games on the bench an are actually willing to fight for a spot in the team - as opposed to going into the Tundra and having a pop back from a distance
