Yet again, for 70 minutes, Emerson has done the sum total of f*ck all, in attack or defense.

Watching him labor to try and nutmeg Henry just now, fail, get dispossessed and foul his man is just peak comedy if you're of an anti-Spurs persuasion.

And Sessegnon, who is poor but also offered slightly more, is the first off of the two. I understand we don't have another RB, but *surely* we can try having a winger back there?

At least it's a tactical switch and not a like-for-like like last week. Recognition that our system is offering nothing without good WBs atm.

We have one actual wing back. He is now injured. I don’t doubt it will work well when we acquire some flying wing backs in the summer.

But why does Conte persist with this system when it is clear and has been for sometime that we don’t have the personnel for this right now? For an elite manage he should be able to switch it up when needs must…..
