Son Heung-Min

Wee bit more of an update, hopefully it's very minor!

Tottenham have an injury concern over Heung-min Son after he sustained a calf injury on international duty with South Korea.

The Korea Football Association [KFA] have said Son will miss their World Cup qualifier against Lebanon on Tuesday and the 29-year-old will now return to Spurs to be assessed.

Son played the full 90 minutes for South Korea in their 0-0 draw with Iraq on Thursday but the KFA say he has an issue with his right calf muscle.

The injury is a concern for Tottenham ahead of an important run of games this month.

Son is a doubt for Saturday’s lunchtime kick-off against Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park and Spurs also have London derbies coming up against rivals Chelsea on September 19 and then Arsenal on September 26.

More, just uncomfortable doesn't sound too bad, fingers crossed:

Tottenham Hotspur forward Son Heung-min has sustained a calf injury while on international duty with South Korea.

The 29-year-old will not be involved in South Korea’s upcoming World Cup qualifier against Lebanon. Son played the entire match for South Korea in their goalless draw with Iraq on Thursday but the Korea Football Association (KFA) have said the Spurs forward has since picked up a calf injury.

A statement from the KFA read: “Heung-min felt uncomfortable in his right calf after training on the 6th, and as a result of the test, he was excluded from the entry to protect the player due to a right calf muscle sprain.”

If Son is unable to recover ahead of the weekend, he will miss Spurs’ trip to Selhurst Park to face Crystal Palace on Saturday.

Spurs will also be hoping the South Korea international does not have a prolonged layoff with crucial fixtures coming up against Chelsea on September 19 followed by the north London derby against Arsenal on September.

Nuno said the club will be making a statement about Son.
Is that ever good?

Urgh. Thats probably him out for 2-3 months then.

One silver lining is that we have similar position/style players in Gil and Bergwijn, albeit not of the same quality.

Biggest issue is the lack of CFs in the squad looks like coming back to bite us
