He clearly looked injured after the fall. He didn't really get as involved as he had been and you could see him wincing a bit when he got the ball.

Was right with you until he produced that exquisite pass to put Sess through which led to our first against Leeds. Tbf he then went on to put in one of his better performances in a long while.

Like he did vs Liverpool and Leicester ?
The issue we have as a team is we have been playing players who can’t control a ball well or pass well. Take them out of the team and it means we can keep a ball better and actually be more adventurous
Then we replace him when we have other options but try to keep the core of the team as better players technically

Fair shout vs Liverpool but Leicester? They are pretty much in the Leeds bracket nowadays.

Tbf though his performances have improved recently. But for me his very best is only just about acceptable, anything less and the whole team suffers.

The team suffers when players can’t pass to control the ball
We have seen it one hut go times
The right hand side of doom is a classic example
It also suffers when players think a good run is to run exactly where the other players are…
We did not do that vs Leeds or city. We didn’t vs Burnley until changes were made.
