OT: What next for Harry?

As long as we get someone in I think we can. Could be our last chance to get some real cash for Defoe, especially as QPR are likely to pay over the odds.

We'd leave ourselves very short if the new signings didn't settle and/or Ade got injured. We should also remember that quality strikers are in short supply and expensive in January. I am almost certain that Defoe will be with us until the summer at the very least.

looks like the "Harry to Ukraine" media campaign certainly helped push QPR into making a quick decision about Hughes :-k

I'd like to go to another 'Evening with Harry' night again. He came to Warrington, a couple of days after we beat Inter. Top night, some great stories, but obviously none involved Spurs, all Pompey/West Ham/Bournemouth related.

Now he's moved on, it would good to go to another evening (although it wasnt cheap) to hear hopefully heat some Spurs stories. Told some gems about Futre and Di Canio

I think that QPR had asked Hughes to resign before the Ukraine stories began to circulate but he refused

News still seems to be saying that Harry 'is in talks' - so has it still to be confirmed??

My guess is that it will be confirmed tomorrow. Fernandes only got back in the country today and I'd guess that he would want to have some involvement

Hmmm...I wonder of there may be a spanner in the works...it is after all a bit of a step downwards for Redknapp from edge of CL and England....

Harry Redknapp to attend QPR's game at Manchester United tomorrow. Kevin Bond and Joe Jordan set to join backroom staff

There are 20 teams in the EPL and HR would do a great job in about 14 of them. Every time there is a story about HR being linked to some club up north or abroad eg Sunderland or Ukraine I look at possible vacancies nearer to where he lives.

I am quoting my own post just to highlight a point made in the ITK debate.

It's simply smoothing through the sacking of Hughes' backroom staff and employing Jordan and Bond...

Nah, although I wouldn't put it past Arry and Stretford to rinse Fernandez for a few extra quid now his back's against the wall. Arry can pretty much name his terms right now with Hughes officially tin-tacked...

Never on the cards, imv - largely a ploy to speed up his appointment and bump up the package. He said numerous times it's the PL where he wants to stay.

Guesses for his fave formation ? 4-4-bloody 2. Gallas's next stop dans le capital ? Would Daws also be enticed ?? They could be a tricky fixture for us when we next meet,

Could see him going for Dawson, Huddlestone and JD if we chose to sell any of those players. Hoping we could make a deal involving Bentley or Jenas at some point too, but that doesn't seem very likely.

Don't see him going for Gallas at this point, but could be wrong.

Could perhaps see them go for Crouch in January, they are short on strikers...

What about a "shock" move for Lampard? Benitez is saying Lampard and Cole will leave in the summer, so perhaps an early move.
