*** OMT Tottenham Hotspur v Arsenal FC ***

Mourinho could barely contain himself when he was praising Arteta in the press conference! You could see he was about to burst into laughter! Good job trying to keep him there!
Pep's cone boy is doing a terrific job! Sideways, sideways, more sideways, play it to the left, smack a hopeful ball in the direction of the box, and pray and hope that Aubameyang lucks it.
That's their plan. Nothing else.

I find it far more stressful watching on TV than being at the match, I think it might be the commentary, I turn it down when I watch on my own. When I'm at the ground I cant turn down the pillock behind me and his mini me son but have the compensation of watching my grandson leaping about when we score.

I turned the radio down driving home but missed the goals.

I have nothing useful or insightful about the game to add here (as per, some may say)...

fudge me that was good though!!!!!!

Wright must’ve hated uttering this sentence :D

He’s always been alright about us for a Gooner though. I’d say it hurts him but he offers sensible opinions rather than ones that are coloured by his association with that lot. Unlike Paul “Harry doesn’t suit Mourinho” Merson who wills us to fail because he doesn’t like us.

We frequently were. It doesn't have to be one manager against another. Our trajectory has been generally upwards since Jol. Without Poch, we can't hire Mourinho.
i'd argue santini where jose famously complained about us 'parking the bus' successfully against an all conquering jose driven side - then santini left (6 weeks was it?) and Jol came in

Arnesen was the architect at that time, got in some quality staff and players

Agree with much said here.

This was comfortable. The sheer level of focus is impressive and Mourinho has got the defensive lines perfect by defending deeper and making sure Hojberg and Sissoko drop in to offer genuine protection. Everyone did a job today. MOTM is hard, Aurier, Hojberg, Sissoko, Kane were all superb.

Looking forward to reading from someone who went...Marky?

Apart from hugely improving our defensive organisation ( you can now see why Jose wanted to buy Toby and Dier while at Man U) he has also minimised Kane and Sons previous propensity for selfishness and has harnessed them into a wonderful partnership. Hats off on both counts.

Jose continues to prove me wrong, and it delights me. To be fair, Toby in a high-line defense is toast. Toby in this defense is mustard!

It was rather emotional to see the lads with the fans at the end. I'm sure it was an immense day for all, and MOTD2 did a little piece at the beginning and those in attendance were obviously chuffed to bits and over the moon, at the end of the day.

Mate.

Great work, but at the risk of barging in on your move, I think the addition of my spaniel/whisky routine to the thread helped tip us over. Custard, badgers and Tom Jones did not hurt either.

An under-rated factor today.
Important stuff

JJ needs to prove himself as a pundit here, if he carries on the same nonsense as Neville and Redknapp, what little credibility he has left will be gone.
I lost interest in him the moment he publicly criticized Jose for his treatment of Dele Alli. That article was so not on.
