I think this squad is Top 10 level and does indeed need a lot of additions if we want to compete at the top end.So what’s your actual point? We a 15th-ish team and need to sign 11 new players?

I’ve only seen the quote
But it’s scary to deflect anything onto the fans
I don't think we were vulnerable because of that in particular, or not as the primary reasons at least. You say we didn't look solid would that partially be because of the pairing of Bergvall and Gray didn't offer much in that respect in midfield? Not targeting them but just from reading what you said that seems like a reasonable proposition?
Also again terms of possession, did wine of them need to drop in? It kind of sounds like we still need a dictator or tempo setter to get us going from deep. I'm going to watch this game tonight with the benefit of hindsight so it'll be interesting to see what I notice.
Because since he has been here we have recorded record low attacking stats repeatedly
Kudus is an issueThe squad is not a top 6 squad. I did not think Frank was the correct man at the time.
What I said when he did arrive he’d need to get this mob performing above the sum of its parts to get near the top of the table.
We have some good young players who in time may come good and maybe not. Apart from Kudus and VDV the rest of our squad is pretty average.
For some reason when they pull a spurs shirt on our fan base think they are world beaters . Add to that missing Kulu and Maddison that hurts because they are two of our best players. Muani is our best forward. He’s been here five minutes.
Frank needs windows to address this.
This is a failure on clubs part i think our transfer activity has been to weighted towards young talent we hope will come good. Also middling players we hope to step up. Look at Richy and Solanke big fees ish for average prem players .
Lots of little problems at Spurs that have left us in this position.
Do you have eyes mate?So it’s just stats. Muani is just getting into a rhythm and I thought did well yesterday, apart from putting the ball narrowly wide twice. You didn’t think there was potential there? He’s played twice while looking fully fit and in the groove (he’s not fully fit with a broken jaw).
With no Kulu our best creative player for most of last season and Maddison probably the second most creative both missing, as well as Solanke, are you surprised our attack is limited?
Throw in many new players and young players, a new coach and new way of playing…and it makes sense where we are now. It takes time. Let’s hope Spurs fans don’t undermine a decent manager who just needs some time patience and backing.
I agree .Kudus is an issue
He beats a man then for whatever reason doesn’t release it (could be options but I think it’s tactical). We see the positives because he is what he is but under the right coaching structure and team Set up he would be much more effective IMO
Hard one to answer one in what we expectI agree .
Here’s how I see it. For years our fan base justify our signings by saying we can compete with wages and fees the very top teams pay. That’s correct. So why do we expect to tier football ?
They are for the most part mutually exclusive. The market we shop in has lead us to where we are now.
So as a fan base I don’t know what we expect.
That’s the reality. Where are we at ? We have been a basket case since Poch . No clear direction. In all aspects of the team. Managerial and player recruitment.Hard one to answer one in what we expect
I think it’s fair to ask for progress when we spend a lot of money as a club and as fans
If you flip flip every time that’s what happensThat’s the reality. Where are we at ? We have been a basket case since Poch . No clear direction. In all aspects of the team. Managerial and player recruitment.

Exactly. So we have to check our expectations as fans and need some stability and direction. Frank may or may not be the man for that. That’s a separate conversation. If you flip flip every time that’s what happens
We go from an attacking manager to a defensive one
TBH it’s normal for clubs that have money because they can afford to do it
But it rarely leads to good outcomes unless you just throw more and more money at it
I’m still concerned that we have a great youth set up yet not one in the real squad. That should be a minimum requirement of any side
Then add in the lack of identity and that can really start at the very very top
It’s odd and wouldn’t even get near to working in any other industry
Fans have a right to expectExactly. So we have to check our expectations as fans and need some stability and direction. Frank may or may not be the man for that. That’s a separate conversation.
As a club we need a plan a direction. Stability.
We’d all like to see progress. I am on the same page as you. This starts at the top of the club.Fans have a right to expect
We pay our money to see a high quality product
The issue is of course that it may not be them at and that’s the variable
I also think you have to ask what is the expectation . I think it’s just progress each year, that’s all for me but others may disagree
We have no idea what the new leadership want. Their actions will show that. We’d all like to see progress. I am on the same page as you. This starts at the top of the club.
Only time will tell. Expect more pain before it gets better. We have no idea what the new leadership want. Their actions will show that.
I actually think they are gonna do nothing that really needed myself but I may be wrong
Dont think it can get more painful. We are dropping quite quickly in the tableOnly time will tell. Expect more pain before it gets better.
Do you have eyes mate?
I’m hearing we’re missing players as an excuse
Your now saying it’s the new players and new way of playing
I’m lost
It’s a lot of excuses TBH
I’m just in shock the excuses are all out for himHold on. You said the reason you didn’t back Frank was the attacking stats. I asked you if you thought Muani looked promising yesterday - using your eyes - and if you could see some positive shoots. Baring in mind he’s new and just setting.
If you add in the service is going to be patchy without experienced players, and surely you can cut the side and Frank a bit more slack. From 17th we’re as expected.
