***OMT TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR FC V fulham...Sat 29th (today FFS!) 8pm - BTW HAPPY BIRTHDAY FERNADEZ'S OLDEST KID***

I’ve only seen the quote
But it’s scary to deflect anything onto the fans

Well, don’t attribute things to him if you haven’t seen or heard it. There’s plenty to legitimately question without making bits up.

He didn’t blame the fans for anything, he was asked about booing Vicario, and he explained that he understands why fans are frustrated and that we all want to win, but that he didn’t agree or like Vicario being booed on his touch by our own fans during a game.

He didn’t once blame our fans for anything, including our form.

I’m not making anything up am I
He has called the fans not real supporters but then fans could say he ain’t a real coach if both are failing in their relevant expectations

I think if you just don’t like the bloke that’s for you, and fair enough. I think if you want to question his tactics, again fair enough.

But saying he’s blaming the fans because he stuck up for his goalkeeper who was being booed by his own fans during a game is just looking for a stick to unnecessarily beat him with.

You tried to imply he’s blaming the fans, generally, as if the way the club is currently is on the fans. Nothing of the sort happened, he stuck up for his player, something he should be doing.

Like I say, plenty to question him on without attributing things to him that simply haven’t happened.

That’s fair
I just shared what I saw as his quote
And I believe to be a real quote
He cannot call out fans IMO
that is up there with his this team were 17th last week
Shows another weakness
Players see it
Fans see it
Mentioning the fans is what gets managers sacked very very quickly

Well I went to an Xmas party tonight so I didn't get to watch the match. Anyone want to give a brief overview of what happened?

We imploded within the first 5 minutes; we were poor for the remaining 40 of the first half; some of our fans behaved like arseholes (again); we were the better team in the second half.

I`ve said it a lot of times but our recent recruitment has been rubbish. I know Kudus scored but in my opinion he is a very average player. Same for Simons too weak for the premier league. One day we will join the big boys and sign some real quality players. Tel and Palhinha, you can see why they couldnt get into the Bayern team. Danso is just an average centre back. We will struggle to challenge for the top 8 with our current squad. Anyone think we have a chance of a result at Saudi Sportswashing Machine on tuesday night?
I wanted us to sign both Kudus and Simons. Kudus been ok, not great, but Xavi hss been very dissapointing.
I agree though re Dansi, Udogie, Porro, Tel, Richo, Oderbert, Sarr, Vicario, Paulinha ,Bentancour, the list is endless.
We always buy players who are largely a punt or just not wanted or starting for the club they came from.
Richy and Solanke we just massively overpayed for 2 very average player.
Recruitment has been awful for years.

Out thought and out fought
They attacked with numbers until they get the 2 goal advantage (another deflection from the edge and a shocker from our captain for the day in goal).
We created nothing pretty much all game but did get a wonder strike from Kudus
Another game where the defence looked lost and the attack looked none existent

I’d go with “we imploded within the first 5 minutes and were utter dross for the remaining 85 mins plus stoppage time”.

Being better than Fulham in the second half isn’t really worth commenting on, in my view.: I can run faster than a snail but I’m not taking that as a positive.
