**Official Other Games Thread, Season 2012/13**

Sunderland have Everton next. Everton to beat Arsenal and Sunderland to beat Everton to make it a great week for us. [-o<

3rd relegation place getting very close. Wigan 3 points adrift but playing ok; Saudi Sportswashing Machine, Stoke, Norwich, Villa and Sunderland all still involved

If Everton beat Sunderland then, given Norwich and Stoke play QPR and Reading next weekend, Saudi Sportswashing Machine could be down to 16th come Saturday night

If they werent down already thats probably the final nail in the coffin for QPR and Reading, now 10pts from safety with 5 to go...not happening
One from six for the other spot.
Saudi Sportswashing Machine right in it now. Their 2 home games are tough :Liverpool and Arsenal, with 3 away ties at WBA,QPR and West Ham, if they lose next week at WBA they are going to be some squeaky bums at SJP. Wigans 2 games in hand are City(a) and Swansea(h), they could be 2pts behind with 5 left.

Think it's gonna be Stoke and Norwich to go down sadly. (Sadly for Norwich's point of view, not for Stoke)

Wigan always look like a genuinely good football team at this time of the year, Villa have too much quality and have picked up form and confidence lately. Saudi Sportswashing Machine despite today's result should be able to get out of it, and Sunderland now should take this result and run with it. It's only Stoke and Norwich who are on proper downward spirals, with no real quality in the team.

Presumably you mean Stoke 'or' Norwich?

Key for us is whether Wigan get enough points before the final game such that they're in touch with Saudi Sportswashing Machine. Sadly, Wigan still have to play Man C, Arse and us; in theory Wigan still have a get out by playing Villa at home on the final day but unless they get enough points against WEst Ham, WEst Brom and Swansea, Wigan could be down by then

Ahh yes, my bad. For some reason I was looking at it that two teams could get dragged in.

But in that case, I'm hopeful for Stoke to go down. Norwich probably have less quality but I think they have something about them that can see them out of it. Stoke seem to have been well and truly figured out by every team. Wigan, Saudi Sportswashing Machine, Villa and Sunderland are all on an upward curve and have the quality to get out of it.

Utd could have the title wrapped up by the time they play Arse and cheatski. Assuming Utd win today and against W Ham on Wed and also that Man C beat Wigan this week:

Man U P33, Pts 83
Man C P32, Pts 68

So then we took a point from Man C, Utd could wrap the title up by beating Villa next Mon

Surely though Fergie will play his best 11 v Arse and cheatski

you'd like to think that Fergie would see the benefit in helping us to oust one of the established 2 from the top 4 - however their performance against City recently doesn't exactly fill you with confidence

If Stoke want to get anything from this game, they need to stick someone on Carrick and stop him from playing all those 30yd on the ground down the channel passes. Real shame we lost him.

Yup, that would've been a very potent attacking force with Carrick playing those accurate long passes for Bale and Lennon to run onto plus Berbatov up front had Whiskey Nose not nabbed him too.

I know it doesn't make sense to do this...but imagine this team:

Lloris
Walker King Vertonghen Ekotto
Carrick Modric Sandro
Lennon Berbatov Bale

=P~

Saudi Sportswashing Machine bench celebrating before realising the goal was offside
