We watched the same game but our takes are so different it's remarkable. For me I didn't see much skill in use of the ball. When I think of the quality passing it's mostly from Saudi Sportswashing Machine, the passes that split lines, the passes that put defenders on the back foot they are from the foot of a Saudi Sportswashing Machine player. No it really isn't.
We are able to pass the ball through midfield okay. I would say quite a lot better than castle for example. The difference was, 'castle made it far far harder for us to play. They were super organised, regemented in a clear shape. And they are good at closing down. We aren't. And that was the greatest difference between the teams. We had to be a lot more skillful to move the ball through them - and we did. But there are issue up front for us. When we're relying on Romero and VDV showing movement, determination, drive and finishing...you know that most of our attack isn't confident or good enough atm.
But obviously you disagree, you have really interesting viewpoint, not one that makes any sense to me but that's the beauty of football.
