Whats the deal with the entrance music when we walk onto the pitch? Its star wars ffs don't get me wrong it is a strong emotion stirring piece of music but anyone else think we should have something else?

Choices are endless so what does everyone else think?

Maybe you'd like to see the boys come out skanking to this little number?

Or maybe we come out to some sore of music made in tottenham straight out the ends?

Could be worse. In the days when I used to watch Rugby League, pre-Super League era. The Warrington players used to come out to 'Entry of the Gladiators', (havent got a YouTube clip), but bascially its the music that most clowns run around to!

Spurs should always come-out to the tune of "McNamara's Band".

There are strong links to the club with this tune going back decades - in fact the composer lived in Edmonton.

My name is McNamara, I'm the Leader of the Band,
And tho' we're small in number we're the best in all the land.
Oh! I am the Conductor, and we often have to play
With all the best musicianers you hear about to-day.

Oh the whistle blows the c0ckerel crows, and now we're in the game,
It's up to you, you Lilywhites, to play the Tottenham way.
Oh there's many a team from many a town and some are great and small,
But the famous Tottenham Hotspur are the greatest of them all.

The lights go out, just some lights in the tunnel stay on.. the Undertakers music hits with a chorus of "oh when the Spuuuurs" slowly sung around the stadium by the fans, then the song finishes and the lights come back on.

YES.

The only thing I envy about Chelsea is them coming out to the Liquidator, but every time I hear that song I think of them. Gets on my nerves. Can't Smile Without You would be good

They play this when they come out after half time don't they? Love it.

Possibly my favourite song of all time only reason i added it. Bit of a silly thread but i genuinely do think the star wars music is a bit gash just aint football if you know what i mean.

...there can only be one...

As the players get ready to leave the dressing room, start the song...time it so as they hit the pitch that first riff kicks in...cut it off after the first 'we're off to never never land'...

It would be f ucking MINT!

Have to admit to not being a big fan of the Star Wars entrance music either, doesn't help that it's from one of the newer rather naff prequel movies. Some of the classic rock anthems suggested would be better or at least choose a more recognisable track from a better movie!

Purely out of personal preference, of course. :p

Good choice. I've seen it used a lot in the NFL, but there is an issue - there's nowhere good to fade that track.

It just ends up sounding empty when it fades and generally leaves me feeling underwhelmed (not a feeling usually associated with that track).

Seven Sisters of Mercy - Temple of Love

or This Corrosion(great choral opening).
