I completely agree but if you’re talking of upgrading and massive restructuring, you’re looking at replacing a lot of players who have spent time on the fringes. And these 3 have been on the fringes.

I wouldn't be getting rid of any of those 3. I don't really want rid of Dier unless we get a very good offer and/or we can get in a replacement.

You could always give them away, the money that would have been used to buy the player could be used on wages.

Alternatively it is common place for the selling club to supplement the wages after the sale, just as Citt supplemented Adebayor's wages. The alternative is that the player stays on our books and we continue to pay the full salary. Sometimes you just have to get creative to deal with certain situations
