Mauricio Pochettino - Sacked

Tremendous stuff. Biggest risk now is that Poch doesn’t get the backing he wants and walks. Danny, you’ve done great but now it’s time to brick or get off the pot.

I wouldn't expect massive investment this summer. The stadium hasn't opened yet and there's still work to be done. Debt will have to be refinanced before we know exactly how much we have to set aside each season.

Back to the point, no doubt the stadium was a distraction to Poch and the team), hopefully with that gone, we focus and get the little bit of lift from our home.

Fuuuuuck man, the acoustics at the new joint are amazing. Hardly anyone there and still sounds raucous.. Can't wait to hear it full, particularly that south stand.

I’m sure Levy has all that figured out to the penny. He doesn’t need to wait for the money to come in before he starts spending. We’re guaranteed an upturn in revenue, he should spend against that now.

The squad is decaying and that’ll only get worse without investment. Expectations of CL football and title challenges have been raised. We built this stadium to fund those challenges. It’s time to push on or else we’re in for a barren few years and the top 6 will become the top 5.

I suppose it hasn't occured to them that the reason United and Real have gone elsewhere is because Poch is happy where he is?

I think if the jobs had been there at the end of the season we would be having a different conversation.

Possibly more if Real than united.

But he will wait. That's how we've operated for years now. (Unrealistic) expectations will most likely lead to disappointment when it doesn't happen.

Has DL not said something along the lines that he has a small amount in the kitty but we can spend whatever we bring in from sales? Given he will hold out for as long as possible to get the best price on outgoing players, stand by for another round of deadline day dramas.

I was so happy to hear the new Shelf join in yesterday - had for some reason thought that everyone who used to be in the Shelf had now moved on to Park Lane. Not so much! It sounded great. :D
I initially started with the Park Lane as that’s where I sit now but a few others in my corner where singing Shelfside so from a nostalgic point of view I joined in with them!

I think the place will be rocking v Palace,

We've never really had a guaranteed and sustainable increase in revenue like this before though. He has to sign 2-3 good players this summer or he's squandering what he has on the pitch.

Hytner is, I believe, a Spurs fan but comes across often as a particularly self-loathing, negative one.
Or he is over-compensating.
Oh contraire... I believe he is a goon! Or possibly Yanited, but whatever he bloody hates us and any praise from him is through gritted teeth. Effing Charlie’s aunt!

The Guardian is full of Primrose Hill and Islington socialist supporting Woolwich or Chelsea, hardly anyone left there from Manchester.
