Marcus Edwards

BBC said this morning that he is available tonight, see below. It wouldn’t be the first time that they have got something so basic completely and utterly wrong though. The standard of journalism on their live page is frankly embarrassing.

Chelsea v Norwich (BBC One, 19:30 GMT)

Daniel Farke's Norwich, 13th in the Championship and six points off the play-off places, have kept four clean sheets in their last five games.

They are unbeaten in their last five games in all competitions and beat League Cup semi-finalists Bristol City last weekend with a goal from James Maddison, the recent subject of interest from Tottenham. Talking of Spurs, loanee Marcus Edwards is available and could be included in the Norwich squad.”

“We have built a very strong squad and the demands are higher [for the academy players],” said Pochettino. “If you were seven out of 10, you were going to have the possibility to play but now we have said to them they need to be an eight or an eight and a half.” On Edwards Pochettino added: “It is a great opportunity for him at Norwich. He now has the possibility to be a man.

Don't know if I'm missing a joke here but Taarabt didn't come through the academy, he was signed(initially on loan) at 17 and went straight into the senior squad.
No not a joke, just someone who didn’t réalisé Taarabt wasn’t in the academy at any stage.

Poch blanks him out despite clearly desperate for a player of his skills, after having stuck his neck out to shower him with praise, citing his lack of maturity as the reason. He then is given a lifeline with a loan to a new club and within a week, his new manager repeats the same mantra and says he needs to grow up...

Not sounding good for the kid.
