Mate i bought the exact same model from Jigsaw24. They guarantee the lowest prices for Apple products and tbh i don't really care how they actually manage to do it. Hell when the manager of the Apple store actually recommends that i buy from them you know it's legit.
 
The fact it came with Snow Leopard and not Lion would strontly suggest these could well be older models. The exterior is identical - only hardware specs differ on the last upgrade.

Always double check the specs

Mate the manager checked the specs, the model etc etc. He typed it in and confirmed it was the EXACT same model that retailed for ?ú1400 in the Apple store.

Anyway T bone just go to your local Apple store and do the same. Ask the sales rep to check the Jigsaw24 site and confirm how much the same model is selling at the Apple store (the macbook pros on jigsaw are NOT new models though).

Anyway T bone i suggest you go to the Apple store to confirm what i'm saying if you're still unsure.

The last 2 are also new macbook airs from the official Apple store. If you notice the ?ú1349 one at the very end has

* 13 inch screen
* 1.7 GHZ dual core processor
*256 gb storage
* 4 GB memory

the Jigsaw one i linked is exactly the same except it actually comes with a 2.13 ghz dual core processor which makes it a superior laptop for far less cash. The notion that better RAM makes the laptop newer is utter BS anyway so again i suggest you go to the apple store and talk to a professional before deciding if i really "got mugged".
 
I would be careful with that advice T bone

The older models have 1066MHz DDR3 SDRAM

The newer models have 1333MHz DDR3 SDRAM

Faster RAM = faster, better, newer Mac
 
You would be careful of the advice to go to the official Apple store to verify things? are you simply trying to be a nuisance.
