Fixture & Ticket News 2022/23

Fixture changes – February
Emirates Marketing Project (H) - now Sunday 5 February, kick-off 4.30pm - Sky Sports
West Ham United (H) - now Sunday 19 February, kick-off 4.30pm - Sky Sports
Chelsea (H) - now Sunday 26 February, kick-off 1.30pm - Sky Sports

Even when we qualify for the CL, we end up with loads of Sunday games.

Have BT Sport fell out with us??

They really haven’t thought the kick off time or date through

How are all the fans especially Pompey meant to get there when there are National train strikes on

Make it the Sunday as they don’t strike on Sundays

At least it’s cheap

Usually with these strikes the following day is all fudged up as well.....takes a while for the whole network to get back to normal (apparently)

I hadn't realised that Fulham no longer have the Putney End as a 'neutral' stand (had no need to check for a while). That's a shame as it was good way of getting to an away game when not having enough points for an actual away ticket.

@HotspurTickets on twitter?

Not for me personally, it just helps those hoarding points and perpetuates the [almost] closed shop for away tickets.
If you're not intending to go, don't apply, and if you do have a ticket and find you can't attend, return it to the club so it can go to the next person in the queue.
Obviously none of that will happen until technology is used to make it more difficult but for now I'll carry on my one-woman boycott :D
(Rant over, and thanks for the suggestion anyway :) )

They really need to do something about away tickets. Imo, no one should be virtually guaranteed a ticket. Should be A ballot system of some sort.

I don't have a problem really with allocation by LPs. If you do actually put in the time, money and effort to follow the team around the country, and abroad, as well as attending home cup games, then you should be able to get a ticket to the big away games and LPs is the best way for that to happen.
I know there are now sanctions (loss of LPs) if you are found to have passed on your ticket, but I'd imagine that's hard to prove, as offering it for sale isn't the same as actually handing it over to someone else.

Your 100% right
I’ve been at away games on other people’s tickets because I know the right people but it makes it impossible for anyone else to get them
I agree that a ballot for a % of away tickets would work too

Will be signing on at 5am tomorrow to try to get tickets for me and my sons for February.

can anyone give guidance as to what options there might be? Are the tickets going to be concentrated in the South stand? Any options in East or West? Chances of finding 3 together?

And the last time I did this there was uncertainty about getting in to the system. How does it operate now?

That's better than getting up at 6am and getting 3 buses to WHL and queuing till getting my tickets at 12.30 in the freezing cold, oh those swinging 60's
