FH Hafnarfjördur is The Sig's first club from Iceland, along with Emil Hallfredsson who's currently playing in Italy and being linked to some Premier League clubs. Don't think he ever won a cap for us though.

A lot of really decent teams in there, just hope we avoid a tricky tie.

Eh? Shakhtar I've heard of, but 'Metalurg' Donetsk sounds like some particularly grim Soviet-era steel town from before the wall came down, all grey skies, thick moustaches, tractor factories and crumbling roads with broken-down Moskvitch cars being used as impromptu beetroot gardens.

Any team in the Europa League play-offs with a coefficient greater than 17.425 is guaranteed to be seeded. Teams with a coefficient below 6.800 will definitely be unseeded.

There are currently still 72 potential opponents that Spurs could face. That will be reduced to 31 (or 30 if Swansea are unseeded) with the completion of the 3rd qualifying rounds. If UEFA follow their procedure from previous years, before the draw is made they will divide the teams into smaller groups reducing the number of possible opponents down to 5 or 6.

Was a good performance from Swansea yesterday, they should easily get a top half finish. The only thing that may hinder them is squad depth.

Swansea looked pretty impressive last night could have been six or seven in the end ,mitchu and bony look a good pairing with Mitchu carrying on as he did last year.

Maccabi Tel Aviv drop into the Europa League.

Steaua on course for the CL with 1-1 after 57 minutes.

Fenerbache - Salzburg is already 1-1 after just 10 minutes, so any higher scoring draw will see Fenerbache drop down as Salzburg will win on away goals.

Maribor 0-0 APOEL at HT. As it stands APOEL drop down and will be seeded. Only three more needed to push Feyenoord back down among the unseeded.
