Videoton from Hungary reached the UEFA Cup final in 1985. Besides one Hungarian league title it's all they've done really.

Blimey. Thanks folks!

Very much looking forward to the Europa games. Think we'll be seeing a fairly young English team in the early stages, ie Caulker Livermore Naughton Kane Townsed (Fryers!?!)

I don't think it will quite be silly season with youth players as it was under Harry. I expect AVB will try and win this, and if we bring in the players linked with, we would have a decent 2nd team with a little overlap.

I expect Villas-Boas to use many of the younger players and depth of the squad for the Europa League,
but also that he'll take the tournament more serious than Redknapp did.
Better preperation, better attitude towards it - players won't feel like it doesn't matter (which Niko and Pav both said straight out last year).
And obviously not just youth and back up players, mix it up more, youth need other key senior players around them to both cope and develop.

i'd much rather we put out strongish teams in the first 3 games, win them all and then you can mess about with the team. obviously if you have a long away trip you might send a weak team
