I think he would be perfect for now and the future. Ticks loads of boxes this one.

Better IMO
Messlier is Hugo lite
Reya is more experienced for a start
And homegrown too

Meslier looks a poor keeper whenever I’ve seen him. Makes a few good saves but does so many things badly. Maybe in 3 or 4 years he might be ready for a club like Spurs but has loads to improve before he can make that jump.

Raya seems to be quietly making a name for himself. Normally when a keeper has a weakness or some poor form you hear about it don't you.

Think he's a good goalkeeper. Not sure he is or will be a great goalkeeper like Lloris was at his best, and like I think we need at some point to really step back up a level.

But he probably suits our style of play better and a good player that fits the system is a good thing.

u2 should know that so don’t sit on the edge
