Coronavirus

MP’s once again showing total distain for the normal person
One rule for them one rule for everybody else
Another embarassing you turn again

Boris is lucky that the nurses who brought him back from the brink of a painful Covid death last year didn't treat this virus with the same nonchalant, cavalier attitude that he does. The clam.

Number 10 will be sick their Johnson freedom day pub photoshoot has been cancelled.

The man is making an excellent job of turning the country into a divided cesspit. Much of the rest of the world is now looking on at him as they did Trump, and are wondering what’s become of England.

Her and some fairly expensive lawyers have been to court over it a few times and failed to present any evidence on any occasion. It appears to be some kind of socialist fantasy, like the magic money tree.

The pandemic quickly showed the magic money tree really exists. All of those multi-billion pound contracts for ministers’ mates were funded from it.

Anyway they have to scrap isolation, unless you have a positive test. We are getting to the point where it is threatening our food supply. People fully vaccinated isolating for no reason.
Go back to, if you have symptoms get a test. If positive isolate.

At the moment we are testing about 10 times as much as germany, france etc...

Pretty sure it’s something else threatening the food supply at the minute…

Which is why governments shouldn't be allowed to pick winners.

The amount of money spent by this government has been absolutely criminal. Quite literally the only thing that can be said in their defence is that the other lot would have spent a lot more.

So they can isolate too for no fudging reason? Brilliant reasoning.

It' a trajedy wages have gone up aswell. https://www.bloomberg.com/news/arti...on-emerges-with-post-lockdown-staff-shortages

Years of lies about how immigration doesn't supress wages.

I. More volume = more availability. That's very simple. You are bemoaning lack of available staff.

II. Supply and demand affects wages, as do external factors. We've had a pretty big external factor over the past 18 months. Of course less available labour can demand greater wages and you would expect to see that in areas of increased revenue too - like an area supplying food when most other food operations are closed/restricted in volume.

But.... brilliant reasoning ;)

It should be scoped by government, refined and defined by industry and chosen by civil servants with as much disclosure as is possible within the limits of protecting essential business interests and secrets.

It's right govt should decide roughly what we need and how to focus it - that is why they are elected.
Industry can then say yes/no/unrealistic/for X you can Y, if you want Z you need to do C.
Civili servants are paid to be the Govt administrators, let them administrate outside of Ministerial interference.

No more availability if they have to isolate and some is infectex pinged. If 5 people are in a room with someone infected they get pinged and all have to isolate. If it's 10 people they all have to isolate.

Civil servants are probably the only people worse placed to spend our money.
