LOL

[Gilzeantoscore]

Last of the Santini signings?

[Dicko]

Good luck to him... Hopefully he plays regularly and finds some good form.

[parklane1]

Good luck to him, one of the best LB's we have had for a while.

[bennysleftfoot]

Loved disco benny and his "no fudges were given" attitude.
And possibly the best hair the premier league has ever seen.

[milo]

Good luck to him. He was cool

[SteveAWOL]

Good luck Benny, thanks for the memories...

Proves he is still not that interested in making money, old " rent a quote" would pay him a fortune and the board at Birmingham should keep him away from the purse.

[r-u-s-x01]

That was a throw away comment. Redknapp made on the spurs show podcast as a joke.... fudge me journalist hey

Played in the Premier League and the Champions League with no interest in football - that is pretty astounding! What a guy! Great player as well, in my opinion.

None of that makes him a weird guy, except the 'no interest in football ' bit. But I reckon that's slightly tongue in cheek, I don't think you can make it to the level he did with zero interest. What he probably didn't care for is all the gonads that surrounded the game...he cleverly narrowed it down to just train, respect what you do, and kick the ball about on a Saturday.

Loved Benny

Knew a couple of non league players who played the old conference who hated watching football but loved playing it.
