American politics

It's far from perfect but I'm sure that most Democrats would've taken flipping Georgia, Arizona, Wisconsin, Michigan and Pennsylvania if you'd offered it on Monday.

Biden's vote share is currently the biggest for any challenger since FDR in 1932.

They're going to need both seats.

Any Republicans that didn't like Trump will be back in the fold by then - winning both is a tough ask.
Yep it certainly will not be easy, but I think considering the way it looked on Tuesday Dems would have taken the current situation. Likely president and a shot at the senate.

Another set of senate elections in two years too and there are some Republican senators who will be prepared to work with Biden.

Maybe a few indicted too. Was there some of them caught insider trading on the Coronavirus briefing info?

Have we had confirmation that Biden and Harris are making a statement tonight?

That's what everyone is saying. Prime time on all the major networks. He knows the game too well to claim victory yet. It'll be more of the patience and we're on the right path stuff.

Having a sane president, getting on top of Covid, not making things worse and healing international relations wouldn't be a bad plan for the next two years and wouldn't need much Senate support.
Is America divided? Of course it is. But what it needs is a leader and politicians who are going to try to unite it and heal the divisions rather than ones that deepen them. Trump is not going away either, he will continue spreading his poison but Biden represents hope at the moment. I’m not looking too far ahead. Just a move in the opposite direction to division and politics of hate will be a great start.
