Athletic Bilbao, Basel, Braga, Dortmund, Lazio, Leverkusen, Liverpool, Manchester Utd, Sevilla, Shaktar, Sparta Praha, Valencia, Villarreal

So the teams in the draw tomorrow is:
  • Braga (Portugal)
  • Valencia (Spain)
  • Sparta Prague (Czech Republic)
  • Lazio (Italy)
  • Shakhtar Donetsk (Ukraine)
  • Athletic Bilbao (Spain)
  • Bayer Leverkusen (Germany)
  • Liverpool (England)
  • Manchester United (England)
  • Tottenham Hotspur (England)
  • Fenerbahce (Turkey)
  • Basel (Switzerland)
  • Borussia Dortmund (Germany)
  • Sevilla (Spain)
  • Villarreal (Spain)
  • Olympiakos/Anderlecht (Greece/Belgium)

Guess the dream draw must be Sparta Prague or Braga.
I'd be fairly confident against either Utd or Victimpool. Players would probably play somewhere near 100% against those teams too.

Not married yet (later this year). She doesn't support a Czech football team but nationalism would get the better of her. I have always fancied us getting Plsen in Europe, it is a nice city and it would be reasonably easy for me to get tickets.

Well congratulations for later in the year. We had our engagement party in Prague. All I can say is come on in, the water is fine!!!

Well that's two things we agree on at least ;)

You know what that means. The return of Soldado, and we all know how that will go ...:D:p

Tipped us to get Villareal in the Last 32 with them having Soldado, but looking at the teams through and the fact we played a team in this round we played recently. My prediciton is another mission. Basel v Tottenham 1st leg away this time around

Some nice destinations for trips with Spring sunshine in that group, notable exception being Shakhtar.

These are through. Not a lot of them I'd like us to meet. Probably Braga, Fenerbache or Prague.

Braga
Fenerbache
Valencia
Liverpool
Sparta Prague
Lazio
Shaktar Donetsk
Athletic Bilbao
Bayer Leverkusen
Borussia Dortmund
Man UTD
Sevilla
Villareal
Basel
Olympiacos/Anderlecht

I'd prefer a brick team to give us the option of letting a few squadies get a run out.
Who is the worst (non-English) team in that list ?

Lots of big names there. Won't be easy winning this. Let's hope for an "easy" draw, not too far away. Anywhere but Donetsk or Turkey.

I'd take Basel. Not too far to travel. We can ride a game without Dele, keep it tight. We have a 26 man squad not an 11 man team. Happy days.

I'd love for us to get Manure. Minimal travel and we'll run them ragged which should affect their league form. ;)

Dortmund would also be nice. I want us to play CL-level teams, not nudge through playing B sides (unless it's Manure).
