OMT ***Tottenham Hotspur v West Ham Dildo Club***

I can't remember all the winners from the last few years off the top of my head, but it's generally big teams that win it, right?

Man Utd last year, think it was City the year before, before that Chelsea (beating us in the final).

Teams much more successful than us bother to win it, maybe we might try. Not like we are drowning in trophies the past 20 years.
I don't know - that's the thing with the league cup - everyone forgets it because it doesn't matter

So Poch sent them out second half with the message they should ship three goals?

‘Anyone with half a brain’ would know that is gonads.

This second half has been an embarrassment plain and simple, I’m afraid.
If he's worth half his salary he sent them out with a message of "Don't get injured"

N'Koudou has had a mare unfortunately...

For anyone not watching: Eriksen & Dembele have both been quality since they came on, but to no avail.

Odd for someone who has a history of backing youngsters. This would have been the perfect match for the reserves and youth players. Instead some of these will be playing against Man U and Madrid in the next 7 days. That is wrong.

I've always thought Pock reputation for that is a bit odd
- if a younger proves himself worth, like Kane, Dele and Winks have done, they he trusts them implicitly and plays them like anyone one else
- however in games like this or EL games etc, he doesn't just give kids a go (apart from the odd exception). Wenger would have played a bunch of kids tonight

so I can see why Poch gets the reputation because the good ones really do get game time, but he doesnt just try kids out much it seems

I think losing to a team we should beat athome, being 2-0 up, is not good.

Freeing up time in the season to concentrate on the EPL and CL, is good.

But I do wish we had a more ruthless and winning mentality. Balance and juggling eh ? Gutted, but not too gutted, but we have to be more focused for manyoo, for sure.

Seemed almost like whatever is wrong with West Ham is contagious. Can only hope Pochettino finds the cure before the real football is back on Saturday.

Poor from us.

I hate to say it, but fair play to that lot - they didn't give up.

Devil's advocate: hopefully a good lesson for our team that you can never be complacent if you want to win.
