What do you think he is supposed to do, try to get inbetween the players and push them apart?

He booked the 2 key brawlers (in his view) and then clearly the linesman on the far side told him to book 2 more, as Oliver checked a couple of times and when they moaned, he gesticulated over to that linesman and the players moaned at the linesman, what is wrong with that?
 
Okay, just watched the game, and while we made it a bit difficult for ourselves, I'm delighted with the win and with many positives.

And of course; fudge off, West Ham. Haha.

PS: Is there a gif of Carrol heading the ball with his face and looking like he was shot? Wife and I laughed so hard at that.

What I think we have to remember is that in Aurier we have a wildling who is going to need taming. We are all getting used to each other in that regard. I bet it doesn't happen again...and I doubt today was about willful ignorance either, it was simply learning to play with your head a bit more...

Our reaction to going a man down and 3-1 was a little disappointing. Took the gloss off what was shaping up to be a handsome win. Delighted with the win still.

We just didn't hold on to the ball very well at all. Llorente was fantastic when he came on.

Ultimately it's a very good win at what is a difficult fixture, so well done Spurs.

As far as Dele Alli, if this is how he performs when is woefully below par he's not half bad ey?

Yes, sorry about that - don't know what happened there - I blame technology :(

I agree Poch is a top coach, but that doesn't mean he is faultless. I think in-game management and effective use of subs is his Achilles heel. I believe he would be well served by having an old head next to him on the touch line to act as a sounding board. Sometimes he can be too close to the action and too wrapped up in the game to think clearly and act decisively. Currently, imo that is what separates him from the very best coaches who have track records as winners.

It will come, we were able to get him as he wasn't yet a top coach and as such he is still learning on the job. he's shown on a number of occasions that he has learned form his mistakes and I'm confident that he will continue do do so. I do share your frustrations regarding the odd thing but overall like a lot of our very young team he will only get better.

Indeed, technology can be a bastard.

To your belief/point...how many points has what you're suggesting he suffers from cost us? I just saw a statistic that we have now won the most premier league games over the last two seasons. I honestly just do not see what you're saying. Wth regards to today, he lost a player to the card, had a still-finding-his-feet CB, had no Dembele off the bench and we still managed to cross the line. With regards to the subs today, what would you suggest he should've done? Bring Tripps on at HT?

On calling a decision wrongly, he said:
