Moussa Sissoko

Levy all over it "£30m transfer on the book", muddy the paper trail, Saudi Sportswashing Machine "renegotiate" deal as an emergency measure after financial irregularities.
We sell for £20m to fund someone good.
Boom.

I'd just like to say, he did alright tonight. COYS!
Hmm, he was ineffective apart from the "hold the ball by the corner" thing.

Players were avoiding giving him the ball, as they know it is pointless and usually results in losing possession and everyone having to sprint back 50 yards.

I enjoyed Poch calling him Moussa Sicko in the post match interview.

Ineffective has been his best level for us. Definitely at his ineffective best today.

He was Ok. But every time he wins a ball or gets to a loose ball first, it's like it's on fire and he has to get rid of it as quickly as possible. I don't know whether it's because he lacks the vision to see any option other than the closest one, or his confidence is just shot to pieces and he wants to lay it off via the seemingly easiest and quickest pass (which even then doesn't always work).
Not a player that inspires confidence. Maybe he needs a run of games but he won't get that now (as long as Dembele and Wanyama are available).

he was fine tonight. Popped the ball off, was neat & tidy and played some one-twos that allowed us to build the momentum from the start of the half.

I do agree that the players don't particularly look to use him if they are seeking to attack the opposition's goal which is pretty damning.

He looks to get rid of it because he has no ability with it - cant pass, cant cross, cant shoot, crap control. Utterly hopeless player

Pretty harsh, Zaha was all over us first half, second half he hardly got a touch, half of that was a change of tactics and cutting off the supply line but sissoko did very well to contain that side and push them back.

However we need a scape goat so guess we arent allowed to praise him

Sissoko was fine when he came on. He is clearly a safety first player for us at the moment but he did some clever stuff to kill the clock and also won a couple of free kicks late on which broke their game up

Zaha did have less influence in the second half so he clearly added something to our game there too
