OMT Tottenham Hotspur Vs Liverpool*** OFFICIAL

We were terrible and shot ourselves in the foot time after time and were lucky Liverpool didn't take advantage.

Poch had to make more changes and after 10 mins you could see that we were on our feet and mistake ridden.

Let me make this clear - I HATE Liverpool as much as arsenal. Their fans are the most deluded clams going and I have to say that although it isn't the done thing...... fudge Hillsborough - I can't bare the brick they go on about EVERY YEAR (look at various other terrible incidents - including ones they were responsible for that you never hear about, EVER ), fudge their manager and fudge the media...... Hoardes of 40year old 80s glory hunting fans who love to write about them and how great they are - it makes me sick. That club is just GHod awful and I absolutely hate them...,, gutted that we have completely fudged it on their patch yet again

£25m minimum. To be fair, he does actually look pretty decent. Early days though and playing against some ok players in his first 2 games.
Nah, just convince him to go on strike (they'll understand all about that in that part of the world) and they'll have to sell cheap.

It's coming with Lamela. He still has not had a full season in England. He is getting used to the pace and the physicality of it. His team work is good, his link up play can be good. Soon he will be beating more players and making more of the right choices.

I have faith. But I think it will be next season when he pushes on more.

sure, we'd like for him to get more goals. but i dont feel thats a bearing on whether he should play or not

I think it's a close call when the person he is keeping out of the team has contributed goals and in general looks more threatening in the box and gets into dangerous positions more often than Lamela does. Chadli reminds me a bit of Ljungberg, not an overly gifted player, but knows where the goal is and makes good runs.

Chadli should be ahead of Dembele though, not Lamela.

The problem is that when Chadli has played on the right, he doesn't look the same player. Lamela and Townsend seem to be our only choices out there atm. Right now I'm in the middle of yours and Mumorn's opinions. I think he brings more to the team than just his workrate, but he really does need to add goals to his game else he will become expendable.

Tonight had that sense of inevitability about it. As another posted mentioned, we beat Chelsea, then we lose to Palace the next week. Granted Liverpool away is a far more tricky game than Palace away but you just sensed we wouldn't build on Saturday's win.

his assists/contribution make up for lack of goals. he is a poch player and plays superbly for this type of role/style.

Lamela gets slated for not making the right decision every time and occasionally losing the ball, Dembele gets hailed for doing the same thing. Makes no sense.

I don't know about "hailed". But Lamela has been picked far more frequently than Demble, plus Lamela is meant to be more of an attacking threat than Dembele.

Lamella had a good game once he started passing forwards

He won plenty of ball and almost had a peach of a goal

whoever I would have taken him off for Chadli as our first sub personally as he is limited at the moment as a threat and still stumbles with the ball

Can I just highlight how awful that pitch was for a premier league club. It had bobbles and dumps all over it and was 40% dirt on top.

I'd also like to mention how woeful their fans are when it comes to atmosphere

I really wasn't impressed with Liverpool, and feel that a fresher side would have beat them
