In the case of the latter I thought he was a very good player for us before we sold him.

he was, just didnt score the volume of goals for us as he did in Spain....i was sad to see him leave us though.

Wasn't that because he typically played more as the number 10 type player for us with Defoe being the goalscorer, whereas he was the number 9 when he went to Seville?

season doesnt start until June, so why would there be any information?

I guess the last of the Redknapp era blabbermouths has just left the club.

Baldini has his obvious confident in the media, but is probably less inclined to gossip with his neighbours/the guy in the papershop and sundry about club business than some of our former employees.

They've had since January to come up with stuff.

As soon as the manager is sorted things will probably pick up, maybe some new ones popping up? Might be a bit of a lull during the early stages of the world cup.
