Saying a keeper is "great", "****ing immense", and "awesome" means you're fully on the bandwagon. I mean what are you talking about?
 
Is there really still an argument for Butland to replace Lloris? The guys some years off being ready for a top six team if he even develops that far, what he needs more than anything is first team football, it really was a weird move going to stoke to play backup.

I won't insult you back.

It's just another case of you going against the grain (i'm sure some of those comments about Mignolet was in response to others saying he was ****)...and then completely forgetting what you had said. You was probably so hell bent on going against the general opinion (as usual) you barely knew or cared what the subject was about.

Much like:

* insinuating that Osvaldo was a bad signing by Baldini at Roma........a few months after claiming he would be a good signing for us.
* Going against the grain in regards to Bentaleb.
* Claiming Alonso was terrible at Bolton (which insinuates you watched him a fair few time?), claiming he won the POTY but it meant nothing as Bolton are ****...then realising he didn't win it the season they were ****.

There's probably more cases tbf. Rather lame and it's pretty obvious you haven't seen half the things you go on about....or that you get excited by continuously going against general opinion.
 
And I have to say Mumorn, replying with 'it means I am praising him. Dumbass' doesn't help anyone. Come on! Please! Don't go down that road as it's asking for trouble...
 
Amazing save yesterday. Could've been very vital, had the linesman done his job. This could've been a key moment in the game, if Dawson's goal had stood and the penalty rightfully not been given.

all this talk about him leaving and a french club making a big offer - do we have anyone in the academy ready to step up? or do we have to potentially acquire 2-3 keepers in the summer ?

Very good keeper but not really bothered if he goes. In fact, i wouldn't really care if any of our players left in the summer bar maybe Vertonghen.

Sell Lloris for 20m plus to Monaco and bring in Begovic for half the price...the cycle continues.

Why wouldn't you care if anyone bar Verts goes? Is he the only one you think is decent?

Jordan Archer is the academy product closest to the first team, but I'd say at best he should be third choice at the moment.
We have to sign a new goal keeper in the summer, if Lloris were to leave we'¨ll be needing two new ones.
Don't think we need to have a third senior one, leave an opening for guys like Archer. If we get an injury we're always allowed the option to loan someone in time of need.

Pretty much. I also don't think we have any stand out players other than Vertonghen (who i think will leave). I'd also be sad about Dawson leaving for sentimental reasons but everyone else i wouldn't really be especially bothered.

Short memory mate, imo, Lloris would be a real problem to replace.

Outside of Brad, who did a decent job but nothing more, our keepers have been an issue for a very long time. The amount of points we shipped with Robbo/Gomes/etc. (for some reason my mind has drawn a blank, dear GHod lets not go back to walker days) that were down purely to keeper errors.

Lloris is very good keeper, plays a part on how our defensive unit works, shuts down a lot of plays before it happens, is brave and no obvious weakness (unlike say Brad who was stuck to his line, or Robbo who was **** for anything hit from distance, or Gomes and his flapping at crosses).
