Scott Parker

good servant of the club, still gave his all, put his body in the line of fire even when his legs went out. and great professional attitude and haircut throughout.

Clear out day today, it seems.

Tom Huddlestone and Jake Livermore will join Hull City - Tom permanently, Jake on loan.

If this move does go through, it'll be good for everyone. Parker gets regular playing time, which will keep him in contention for the England squad. 'Arry will get one of his favorite players, and will presumably make him his midfield lynchpin. QPR get a midfielder who, while admittedly in decline, could still easily do a job in the Premier League, will be one the Championship's best midfielders and will provide valuable top-flight experience should they return to the Premier League next season. And we get a high earner off our wage bill and lower the age of the squad by a bit.

He was amazing for us from August 2011 to roughly February 2012. After that his form and energy levels dipped and his injury problems started recurring again. Still did an admirable job when called in to cover for Sandro last season, though, and is a dedicated professional and seemingly a perfectly likeable guy.

If this move goes through, then farewell, RAF Group Captain Scottisworth Parker. Your devotion to duty and your services to this club have been noted. Ta-ra!

Telegraph: Scott Parker is likely to sign for Queens Park Rangers in the next 48 hours after Harry Redknapp agreed a £3.5m fee with Tottenham.

Ah man Scotty's leaving :(

I will remember him fondly. He came in and was our player of the season in his first season.......obviously with Sando and Capoue it's best he moves on but i certainly wish him all the best.

All the best Scotty....Thanks for your efforts in the spurs shirt.

Our best player, if this was judged on who ran most I agree but he lacked a lot of footballing ability; his enthusiasm and determination masked a lot of detriments to his game! Really, he was a good little terrier at best and gave his all but you are forgetting the importance of Modric, Bale and VDV.

Not a lot I can add, you guys summed it up perfectly

Whilst we are on the up, it is fantastic to move these squad players out as it means we get shiny new first teamers to replace them (and moan about when they can't run, shoot, pass and captain the side all at once)

Will never forget his first 10 games for us, outstanding!

All the best Scott!

agreed. he was never gonna be able maintain that level of performance though. i remember him saying how nervous he was before games when he first joined

He was outstanding. He definitely burnt out though, he was hardly the same player after that, he did get injured though I remember and played through it, I remember him going to the World Cup with the injury and then having surgery AFTER delaying his return to us.
