Ade back home in Togo, sharing his wealth.

Sharing his wifes clothes too, it seems?

Re: Adebayor

The romantic side of me thinks he'll come back fired up to fight for his place and show us why we bought him in the first place, the cynic in me tells me he's a lost cause that doesen't give a damn and just wants his paycheck. I'm undecided on if I want him to stay or not.

If we could see more of the Adebayor that turned up at Stamford Bridge I'd want him to stay, but we all know now he has a contract, those performances will be few and far between.
Believe me, I would love the guy to prove me wrong, sadly I dont see it happening

Re: Adebayor

He's unreliable. But if he's motivated and managed well, he can be a hell of a player. I think everywhere he has been, the clubs appreciate that. I definitely don't agree with the band of people who say 'anyone but Adebayor'. He's a very good player, that we would do well on upgrading.

Re: Adebayor

I remember him saying that he was depressed when Mankini arrived at Emirates Marketing Project because the Italian wouldn't play him, some times when he smiles he looks like someone who is suffering from the illness, could be wrong and wouldn't to make that statement, seen someone stab himself in the stomach and have met self harmers, but I look at him occasionally and can't help but think it.

Either way it is a shame that his formed dipped so sharply, just look at THAT performance against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge, one of the best No. 9 performances I saw last season, truly outstanding.

Re: Adebayor

He felt a lot of love that day. He continued that form for the rest of the season (about 3 games  )

Re: Adebayor

To the OP: You didn't mind Graham, and you don't mind Adebayor... I think you need to reassess your judgements.

Adebayor has been lazing around, hiding in games, then whining and appealing for your kindness. Stop being a mug!

Re: Adebayor

Thought someone would pick up on that ha ha. Not a mug but I can't shake the feeling Ade on his day is better than Benteke on his. Reminds me lots of Kanoute who suddenly became a world-beater after leaving us

Re: Adebayor

It would be nice to have the choice of Good Ade or Benteke during the coming season.

But i think we'll dump him on some mugs if we get a sniff.

Re: Adebayor

I see this has just been moved. Is this really a transfer rumour thread? Was more a debate on his merits to the team.

I moved this thread here because it is about whether we want him to leave or not. This sub-forum is for talk related to the transfer window, not just rumours.
