Predict The Run In

Stoke away is fudging difficult though.

I think we're more likely to beat Everton or City at home than we are to beat Stoke away.

They do pick up most of their points at home, current record is 6-7-2. They've lost their last 5 away, hopefully this will affect their home form eventually.

I think i heard during the everton game fellaini is banned for the next two games,so he's out when they play us plus pinnear as well.

Any little thing helps i say.

Except this doesn't apply to Tottenham. We usually do even worse when things look they're going in our favour.

WIN: Swansea, Everton, Southampton, Sunderland

DRAW: Emirates Marketing Project, Wigan

LOSE: Chelsea, Stoke.

That would give us 14 pts and 68 overall.

Which has been enough to get top 4 for the past 5 yrs

I really don't think the fixtures matter to be honest. If we get 4th, it will be because we have deserved it over the course of the season, not because of 8 games or so. Everyone plays the same teams twice.

Everyone would have predicted us to beat Fulham. How did that work out?

Time for Defoe and Adebayor to start delivering, can't see us achieving our goals if they don't start scoring.

The Run-in Thread

i thought Jord had made a thread for the run in but couldn't find it, feel free to merge if there is one . . .

looking at that you gotta say it's shaping up to be a head to head with us and Chelsea for 4th place as we both have quite severe fixture congestion, whereas Arsenal potentially have to play just 9 games to our 13, although with them you never know when the next slip up is coming.

11th - 25th April is looking a key two week period for Chelsea - after a long slog to Russia in the Europa League they face an FA Cup semi Vs City > local derby V Fulham > grudge match v Liverpool and then potentially a tough European fixture following that - would be nice to find ourselves with some breathing room after that little run in so when we play them we aren't relying on a win to keep ourselves in front

I love the fact we have a 10 day break before the city match, gives us plenty of time to prepare and recuperate before the run in.

Re: The Run-in Thread

Don't forget Everton, six points behind but they have a game in hand. Vital we at least get a point on Saturday because if we lose and they then win their game in hand they're at least level with us on goal difference.

Re: The Run-in Thread

I got a feeling we need Younes back, so as to have emergency cover in CM (DM) with him or Jan filling in if Dembele hip flares or Parker pirouettes himself into the ground........Jake maybe for 20 mins here and there but i cannot (for whatever reason) put my faith in him at the mo.

Their game in hand is Arsenal away though.

I like the way Billy has set that out, you could clealy see the breaks in games. What about those two home games for Fulham on April 17th and 20th. Looks familiar, a couple of favours from Mr Jol would go down nicely. I'm not greedy, both draws would do me just fine [-o<

Re: The Run-in Thread

Arsenal do have several games they are more than capable of dropping points in there actually, Fulham, QPR and Saudi Sportswashing Machine all to play away and United at home - certainly not bankers by any means. . .

With the game postponed now on the 14th, surely if he is training with the 1st team now, he has to be in with a shout of making the team for the City game

Plus WBA away this weekend too. I'm hoping Clarke has them fired up after the good hiding they got at West Ham at the weekend, fingers crossed Arsenal feel the backlash
