Predict The Run In

I have us picking up 19 points from remaining games and Goons getting 26. Hell.

Definitely going to be close, got a feeling its going down to the last day again, but this time I think it will be us with the 1pt advantage going into the last game.

Feck 4th place. We want 1st !
ManU will be affected by the CL exit and go on a shyte run. We will be boosted by the win over Arsenal to go on a perfect run.
So, the league table will look like this :

I was pretty conservative and forgiving on Arse results and still have us finsihing 4th with 4 points to spare. Won't do the specifics but have us finishing last 10 with 5 wins 2 losses and 3 draws. Arse with 6 wins 1 loss and 3 draws.

It's never over but looking at the fixtures everybody (Emirates Marketing Project, us, arse, chelsea, pool, everton) has tough fixtures remaining and will drop points.

Would people still take 5th place and winning the Europa league?

I wouldn't take that if offered as there's no reason we shouldn't be finishing higher (whilst also winning the cup) i still value winning the EL more than finishing anywhere but 1st in the league

I'm really not that concerned with the run in. We had a harder run than Emirates Marketing Project did in 09/10, but we still finished above them. I'm more concerned with the quality of our team compared to Chelsea and Arsenal and the current form of said teams. On paper, we have a better squad than Arsenal, but not by much. But I've seen Arsenal come back to haunt us too many times to write them off at this stage. If we get to say 5 or 6 games left with the same points margin, then I'll be quite confident.

But since Wigan and Aston Villa meet in the final round it's impossible for both to catch us, meaning we are already safe.

Just wondering is it the top 2 that go through to the group stage straight away or the top 3?

With utd and the arse failing to get to the quarters how close are we losing the fourth spot in general in future years?

Top 3 get automatic qualification to the Champions League Group Stage.

4th place plays in the Play-Off round.

It's going to take years of poor performances to lose that 4th spot. Top 3 teams go straight to the group stage.
