I'm really enjoying 'Ed Stafford: Naked and Marooned' on Discovery.

I need to find the Amazon river thing he did but it doesn't seem to be on the net.

Starting watch the re runs of House on Sky Atlantic. I'd forgotten how funny he can be at times.

I watched the first 2 seasons of House but got a bit bored of it tbh as every episode seemed to have roughly the same plot... someone turns up with a mysterious illness, House' 3 subordinates do a differential diagnosis which he mocks before coming up with an amazing treatment which proves his genius and thus stops him from getting sacked for antagonising the boss. Would like to see him deal with his personal demons more, does season 3 offer more insight into his character flaws?

It's LUPUS!

yea it's a good show, only thing ive watched recently that has kept my interest

although this second half of the 3rd series has been a bit disappointing, the Guvnor and Andrea are poor characters imv.

finally got up to speed with Breaking Bad - definitely improves from the 4th season onward but im not sure how much i can care for a program where the main character is such an arsehole

Don't watch The Sopranos then

I think it's kind of the point to be honest, the majority of the audience hates Walt now. But I'm too invested in it to stop watching. I want to see what ultimately happens to Walt and Jesse. I'm betting Walt's cancer will come back and in the end he'll die. I also think Jesse will patch things up with his parents.

He almost goes to prison in Season 3 as he antagonises a cop who comes into the free clinic, who in turn develops a vendetta towards House. He has evidence that House forged prescriptions to get more vicodin.

He also goes to rehab in later seasons to deal with his addiction.

I agree the show is formulaic, but House is a great character and makes the show what it is!

Tony Soprano is probably the best example of a well written anti hero in cinema/TV that you could give.

I don't think it will the whole series is about breaking bad becoming a bad person etc got a feeling they'll go down the route of bad things happen to good people and visa versa and we'll see Walt walking into the sunset care free with all
His dirty money and Jessie who at heart is probably the best person in the show will die....reckon Walt will somehow betray him.

^ have yet to watch The Wire properly - saw a run of about 4 episodes when it was on tv a while back and didn't think much of it. will have to find time to start from the beginning though at some point
