Sorry mate, I think this whole thing is gonad*s. I'm not 'one of the' but Im also not a sheep. I've been up there 8 or 9 times and never ever had an ounce of trouble. And I don't think of them as a club who thinks they're victims. Sorry, I know it's not the populist view, but that's OK, I'm old enough not to care mate. Hopefully not being jumpy, but you have a point, perhaps I should gently ease out of this thread and let the scouse-bashers get on with it, whatever I personally think of it...

Steff, everyone is allowed to have their opinion, but seriously, just take a browse of RAWK ..

Liverpool's a great city, one I hope to visit someday. The people are by and large decent folk, and the club's indisputably one of English football's cornerstones.

But they are indisputably one of the most self-pitying fanbases in the world of football. Indubitably. From Heysel, to the perceived media victimisation of Suarez, Dalglish and Rafa, they have a history of melodramatic wailing that grates on the nerves.

I know what you're saying, but mate, IMHO no-one should take fan message boards too seriously. Small section of the fan base always. I'd rather trust what I've personally experienced over the years mate...

All it takes is one of us to say that Bale doesn't dive and it's the default opinion of all Spurs fans. It's how the internet works. RAWK do have an above average amount of deluded idiots though.

I'd rather trust what I've personally experienced over the years mate...I've stood outside the memorial there and often reflected on how it could've been us. I've also been treated royally by scousers post-matches, including after the 2-1 QF in 95, when strangers bought the beers and I enjoyed some of the best, most educated supporter-football conversations I've ever had without an ounce of patronization or anything. The majority of old school Liverpool supporters know their football and know good football. The tinpot internet tossers? Well, they're everywhere mate...

I, too, have seen Spurs at 'Pool numerous times. Been in Arkles a few times. Great atmosphere. No trouble whatsoever.

If we had lost 96 fans I think we would feel pretty aggrieved about it too, especially with the cover up.

My mate was a fireman in 1989, and was on the pitch for the Hillsborough disaster. Later, the Liverpool Fire phalanx invited them over to Liverpool in thanks, treated them like royalty, major tinkleup and the Sheffield firemen never bought a drink all night. Sounds like a pretty decent bunch to me, as have been ALL of the scousers I have known.

It is amazing that this outfit loan out Carol! He could have made all the difference to them and created a focal point for their attack. (How many more points would they have with Carol?) Suarez is not really an out and out striker, and that Borini - now crooked - is a player who hasn't made the step up from promising youth player.

Despite him being a grade A cun1 I wish we'd signed Suarez. I think if he'd come to us he would have had better guidance and had bags more class! You know HR regretted not going in for him - saying in an interview once, he had be ill advised that Suarez was similar to what we had at the time. He would have been perfect coming in off the wing providing competition for Lennon in a 3 pronged attack.

Glad we are run better than pool. With bags more cash, they are struggling.

Liverpool aren't even fun to laugh at anymore, the stuff that comes out of that club is just utterly relentless, when will it stop?

some guy made a fake twitter account posting rumors of transfers involving liverpool, 2 of these transfers actually happened so liverpool assumed they had a mole, hired private investigators to find out who was behind the twitter account then threatened him

There is a poster on here that said that clubs were going to start cracking down on ITK twitter trolls etc. Said it several times on the transfer thread.. cannot remember who though.

I guess this is the start of it.

Beware it seems, you set up flimflam account, they will hunt you down, and out you.
