***Tottenham Hotspur v Aston Villa OMT***

Full credit to Friedel. Just seen a shot of him on the bench where he is all smiles. He is a great pro, he's 41, he knows the story long-term...top man.
Fun few minutes there, Ade looks good, glad his head is seemingly sorted...

do people on here actually want Lloris to fail?

I think it's just a reaction to those who seemed to want Brad to fail so Lloris got the shirt!

Surely this is better, Brad never let us down and now we have a keeper who could be with us for ten years.

Stop the Brad hating. Stop the Lloris hating. Start SUPPORTING the team and whatever the manager thinks is best for it.

On a side note, this might not mean Lloris is going to play every game, perhaps AVB is going to rotate a little in the league to see how each does.

CLEEEEEAAAN SHEEEEEEEET
nice debut for ade and lloris
lennon breaks his duck
avb and his crazeee celebrations

Nice to have a comfortable win for once!! International break has come at a good time, give a few players time to get back to fitness after injury.

Great result, pleased to be wrong. I'm not too concerned about Chelsea, it's the lower teams we struggle with this formation. COYS

310 consecutive, but all great things must come to an end at some point. Does this mean Lloris and Friedel switch roles between league and europa?

OK, in before the complaints.

Tough first-half, easy second, we're getting stronger and stronger, very very comfortable win there, a 4, 5 jobbie, 4 wins on the spin, above the filth, level 4th, rest-period coming, keeper transition smooth enough, Ade looking sharp...COYS!

Up to 5th above the scum....and playing like a team learning a new way of doing things, great stuff. Let the project continue

3 points, cleansheet, up to 5th and back above the scum where we belong. How can anyone be unhappy?

Well, a deflected shot and a well worked drive by our Azza, good result ! Clean sheet to boot against a crappy Villa.

We go into the break in a positive state of mind, niiice.

Ha ha you only post when it's about a French player, Monsieur le Frog!

I like Lloris and want him to oust Friedel and become a Spurs legend btw

Actually, it is madam and I just post regarding goalkeepers and defensers as it was the positions I played and know more about.

I don't care about which of Brad or Hugo play (they are both good with different qualities) against the pace of villa's forwards it made more sense to play Lloris, who is more a sweeper-keeper than Brad.

Better game by Walker today, even if he was caught out of position once or twice.

Well done to the lads for the win =D>

The media will still be running some type of story about it tomorrow. They need their football at soap opera drama to sell papers.

Erikthe viking turns up to join the ****ing negative phalanx and then quietly fudges off when we score 2. I hope we keep winning and all the negative people who bring everyone down and tinkle everyone off slowly go back to the sewer.

COYS!!!!! Clean sheet. Now come on Saudi Sportswashing Machine in the second half :)

And how good did Ade look? The difference between him and defoe is unbelievable, they're opposites, Ade is always looking to bring other players into the game and Defoe is always looking to shoot. You need both at times, but Ade fits us so much better. He helps us keep possession and create proper opportunities. Great to have both players though.
