O/T Capello Resigns / New England Manager Speculation Thread

Im not confident of arry staying.

Capello resigns the same day arry gets the all clear.

We have only been looking at signing players short term. (until the end of season)

arry has said he would find it hard to turn down the England job if offered.

It's not looking good.

in the past he has said he would take the job - long before he managed to turn us in to title contenders - his mind may have changed.

he needs to be open about what he is going to do if this thing drags on

i prefer Harry's 'give it a go' style to Mourinhio's 'win at all costs'

id rather lose a game trying to win than set out to defend our way to victory

By 'defend our way to victory', do you mean play a counter attacking game that gives us a much higher chance of winning a difficult game?

Because i'm all for that.

My point is though thats Mourinhos attitude when he knows he is out matched. And it gets results needed to win a Championship.

In most other games its about dominating play, scoring goals and keeping clean sheets - with quality players.

I think he could work wonders with us personally, both in style and success

The notion that Mourinho's sides are "boring & negative" is absolute gonad*s. There is no better replacement if Harry goes.
 
Our next game is against Holland on the 29th, we need the backroom staff in place before then as no doubt all of Capello's men will go with him.
 
Please Harry come out ASAP to say not making a decision until end of season, don't ruin the buzz for Saudi Sportswashing Machine match

mmm, he had Milan win the European cup, and look what happened to them when Benitez took over
He is another Harry, a real man manager and motivator

one thing is for certain, I doubt any of our golden boys will leave if he takes over the helm

as you say, he will adapt his team to play the style he wants to win the game

Didn't Ronaldo say he wanted to come back to England..........

i was saying at work the other day that Capello was looking for a way out when he came out and said what he did about Terry & the captaincy. i think he knew what he was doing when he said what he did

His players love him, he is meticulous in his approach and would have the dressing room immediately - if Harry goes he is #1 on the list for me.

Whether or not he is realistic I dont know.

Imagine Ronaldo and Bale in the same team!?
