I’m still being patient from two years ago when the calls for patience started.
I’ve been following us since 1981 and I reckon I’ve been being told to be patient for 85% of the time since.

It feels so familiar, 17th in the league![]()
My bad, I checked the standings before the Villa match.18th. We’re leaving the push to 17th until the last day of the season.![]()
If a player is about to kick the ball in a height that is normal for kicking the ball, and a player dives in head first, it's the players who dives in head first that is causing the danger, therefore committing a foul, and an indirect free kick is to be given.High kicks make sense, but a diving header? That dangerous to the player going for the flipping header. Man i hate football these days.![]()
I'd forgotten about that...looked quite easy to score imo.Just seen the header from VDV at the corner that he put wide under pressure from the keeper, that was a huge chance as well actually.

That’s exactly what XG highlights vs shots on target. One great chance and one really good chance, both missed the target. You could argue Porro had a shot on target from 40 yards. Would be 0.01 XG.Somehow today we created over 1.5 XG without hitting the target
In a kind of fan of data when used correctly but I watched that game and we didn’t make their keeper work at all
It was bland, slow and robotic
No, Robertson can also have done nonsense on the move, but White ran through the middle of the pitch, ostensibly VDV side, where he should be positioned. I have 0 issue criticising the pair of them. Do you? Sounds like you want to absolve VDV of all responsibility in this situation and apportion it all to the LB…
Bentancur motmz Gallagher didn't do too badly. Tonali has.to do much better

I'd have to watch it again but Tonali was chasing the player back, if he hadn't done so then it would have just been a clear shot on goal as VDV and Robertson had totally mis-read the play. I'm not sure what your complaint or criticism of Tonali is in that sitauation? At least on initial viewing its to his credit that he spotted the danger when none of the defense did and played his part in trying (but failing to stop it).
The cross for Solanke wasn’t great and Solanke got his feet wrong
