The Future Squad

Context.
Is it, Includes potential add ons.
So inflate the price just now by quoting bonuses that may never be paid, if they fail and the bonuses aren't paid we have that inflated figure to beat levy with for wasting money.
I'll bet one of the bonuses is for CL qualification, pundits don't think we will get CL, bonuses won't be paid but we'll still quote highest possible figure.
Or,
A squad rebuild averaging less than £25m a player in today's game is some feat.

agreed. 25m average is LOW LOW LOW

he has also revitalized some players we already had.

Squad is moving into a nice place. Would be nice to get to the summer and any player we add is just Quality over quantity.

If you use transfermarkt and subtract Porro & Kulu, who were essentially deferred payments from previous years (in all but name in Kulus case) then it's saying 200m Euros which is around £171m - a fair chunk of change regardless but of course offset by Kane Winks & Sanchez fees (£100m +/-)

Excellent turnaround in such a short space of time for around £70m net

We've definitely turned a corner. The majority of players bought since paratici joined have gained value. Maybe a couple have lost. But compare that to the 3-4 years previously.

Surely it can’t last though
I know data is now used more and more but a very high success rate with transfers is nigh on impossible

Why? Not every transfer has to be a success just that overall with player trading they improve you. Spurs spent over a decade with an almost zero net spend. We went from mid table to regular champions league and even got to a final. It was only recently we forgot our way.

That was helped by not having to buy a striker…

so thinking even further ahead to the Summer. if we get the outs we need. I personally would love us to need to sign only 2-3 players of just pure quality. A Centre mid and a really good Wide forward.

LB, CM, ACM and the a 1 Vs 1 dribbler wide forward.

the one thing Im a little baffled with is that I think Ange likes to blood young players. he was not afraid to start Sarr and to some degree Veliz.

But Phillips, Dorrington, Donley, Santiago have not have even a small sniff. when we was 3 up v Bournemouth I thought it was a good time.

Sarr and veliz had a season each playing senior football.

so what do think is the plan then? we loan them all out? they are on the bench. I think they could get 10 mins here and there myself.

Philips has gone to port vale. Dorrington is allegedly going to milwall. Donley has been given minutes. Hopefully they all get loans. Get experience. Then we can start seeing if they will make it or be the next phill ifil.

Edit philips gone to plymouth.
