Injuries

I think we need to look at loans ourselves in January

Re the earlier question, no to any of our loan players
- Go watch Rodon, he's like Sanchez, a decent defender with a brainfart in him everygame, does it for Leeds, does it for Wales
- Reggie has actually probably done the best, but remains injury prone, still lacks end product
- Sess (yes I know not loan) will get punted by Ange the minute he's fit enough (Ange seems to be able to pick that "these" players like Dier, Sess, etc. won't suddenly change, we have seen them, over and over)
 
Personally I would still rather have Rodon or Sanchez than Royal in there, less so Davies. Not sure we can recall Rodon or not. And its going to be Jan anyway, so maybe we will sign someone.
 
Another aspect to these injuries is that we have lost two of three of our captain group. And considering that, and considering how well we’ve competed in the past three games, the future’s bright.

Literally why? Rodon isn't good enough, he isn't a long term solution.

Romero is back for West Ham, so it's him and Davies till January, in January we will clearly sign a CB that will be more future oriented.

Keeping players like Dier, Sanchez, Rodon, Sessegnon around for cover/depth is a huge part of the reason the squad stagnated, players we all know will never own a first 11 spot.

I agree with getting rid of the rot when the chance to sell them arises. I am all for that. Sanchez I was very surprised we sold at the time. We had no CB cover and he is fast, he had more chance of fitting in Ange's system than Dier for example. But we sold him and Cant play Dier.

Dier, Sess, PEH, Skip for me do not fit our system and I hope they are sold. But Bringing Rodon back for half a season would not be the worst thing. Leeds love him. So we can sell him to them if they get promoted.

I hope we sign a CB 1st of Jan. that would be the best thing. I just know how levy does transfers. And its not that. so we are looking at All December and Jan with Romero and Davies. Lets hope he does not get injured.

Sanchez 100% cannot play in a team that calmly attracts pressure then neatly passes the ball to one another to penetrate the press, so he definitely needed to be sold. Daniel Levy would be a better fit at CB.
 
I have 0 hopes for Sessengnon as I genuinely see nothing impressive or stand out about him other than his diagonal finish, but with him coming back to fitness maybe just maybe Ange can get something useful out of him. I think it's highly unlikely but maybe Ange's system can do something with him.

Nah who am I kidding. He's a write-off. 🤣😅
