Christian Stellini - Acting Head Coach for a small part of the season

It’s not all on Stellini, or Conte for that matter. Our senior players need to take their share of responsibility. It’s up to them to set the tone on the pitch. Draw a line in the sand. Instead they go missing. Time after time. The last 20 minutes last night was the latest example and possibly the worst of many. I’ll name them:
Lloris
Dier
PEH
Son
Kane.

No leadership qualities whatsoever in that bunch. I’d happily get rid of the first 4 now. Kane? Yeah we should be grateful for his goals but he’s no leader.

We had 2 shots on target the whole game, and one of them was the penalty.... As others have said this was just as the same as Conte..

The last 30 minutes was as bad as it could be... No passion, no desire , not much skill and no leadership on or off the pitch...

The interview with Stellini at the end was amazing ... The whole world saw us just sit back after we scored and he comes out and says 'no we didn't '... Our beloved club has become a joke....

I would bring back Harry Redknapp for the rest of the season with a million pounds bonus if we get top four... At least he would put a smile on people's faces, the football would improve and he has apparently expressed an interest despite his age...

Lots of people want Poch but not now... I would wait until the summer so that he doesn't start off as a failure and then he can have his clearout..

I am so fed up....

Should have been the easiest team talk of his career, go out there and prove conte wrong.
You didn't like his tactics, even though you have reverted to this brick under four managers, well show me you can do something else.

He wasn't the worst player on the park but peh summed us up, repeated pointless balls to no one turning over the ball.
Do it once, ok, twice, someone needs to be having a word, repeatedly a team mate should be decking him.
But no one gives a fudge.

It would have been hilarious (in a gallows humour sort of way) if Stellini just came out and eviscerated the club like Conte did in the post match. The bloke seems to want to tow the company line which makes sense but I wonder if it continues whether we'll get any truth from him or if he's just happy to be in a the position.

People like to slag off commentators but whoever it was on sky literally said "I cannot believe what I am seeing" once we scored and retreated in to our shell, even the supposed neutrals could already see what was coming. If Sanchez and Moura are the answer I think the question has got lost in translation.

Redknapp shout is a wild one, could be fun but we don't have a LB, only got one RWB, no creative midfielder and no proper wingers, doesn't really seem a squad readymade for him.

At least we might all feel a bit better about things if he was in charge. Can’t see it, though. As long as the tills are ringing at the ground on Saturday then Daniel will be happy.

Understand that feeling. I remember saying several months ago that this season would be a hard slog and ideally we would fast forward til the summer

The optimist in me says that we've had 3 good transfers windows in a row, and even for the 2-3 years before that we invested meaningfully in the team...however unfortunately in those 2-3 years our signings were cr@p.

Porro, Romero, Benta, Kulu, Bisouma, Kane, Son for the basis of a decent team. Sarr, Skipp, Udogie, Spence have potential. We have a handful of squad players like PEH, Davies too

We just need a new manager, keeper, couple CBs and a creative player or so

Yup. We have to slog through the rest of this season, and as usual, hope things improve.

"It was a good game. We played a good game"

fudge off!! How can he say we played a good game?? I don't know what to say.

I think another manager saying we played brick, our players are not up to it and promptly storming off in a huff for the second game in a row wouldn’t be a great look.

Stellini and Mason managed that game like they were absolutely terrified to be there! Was like management paint by numbers, pick the normal 11 sit back and hope it does enough to scrape a win. They crossed their fingers in the hope that they didn't need to make any major subs.

Can you imagine what will happen when they come up against the likes of De Zerbi, Howe, Ten Haag, Klopp, Frank??

Actually scary thoughts!!

First half was ok, in particular the first half of the first half

Second half was very poor and got worse the longer it went on

I watched most of first half and we were indeed decent. First ten minutes of second half i was listening on radio before watching on a river again after the sending off.
Radio was saying that Dier was constantly giving the ball away in those first ten minutes..is that true and was that because second half Everton starting specifically pressing Dier?

We were hardly being pressed
They pressed more with 10 men
It was just a passive shambles
