Didn't Espanol sack him. Out of curiosity who do you want to manage us
Yep they sacked him because they were bottom
I’d take a lot of managers now as they would be upgrades on conte by not being so damn stubborn and negative

You guy may be a good option… I really dont know
I’ve always rated Potter but that horse has bolted
De Zerbi is class and was doing great things before Brighton
Poch is always gonna be in the frame whilst he is free
I like Silva at Fulham
I don’t want Thomas Frank unless he can demonstrate his teams can play football
Arne Slot is a young manager doing great things in Holland
In France I’ve been impressed with Fonseca again at Lille
In Italy I’ve always liked Gasperini but he is old
Gallardo could be anything. I’ve always been intrigued by him
so there are a few from me

Lots of them have done a lot less than Ange. How is Marco Silva more proven than him, other than the fact he’s managed a few Premier League teams? He’d be a terrible option.

Yes but you said barly managed in 4 years. Like he'd been out of work or something.
No sorry
I meant he had barely managed as in he only had 4 years experience
Poch wasn’t an experienced guy when we recruited him. At a guess he would have managed before hand 200 games

2 ITKs both think Tuchel and then this fella disagrees haha...

Dragon 1 on Coys.

Poch would walk on his hands and knees back to us he wants the job

conte will be gone by the weekend and mason to end of season

board we’re not anticipating what happened on Saturday to happen so basically are not prepared and not decided so anyone who says it’s such and such is lying

Poch is high up the list but club want to consider other candidates, club now accept the rebuild that Poch spoke of in 2019 needs to happen and want a young progressive coach in charge , I do not know why but I am told tuchel is not on the list , the Brighton manager along with Poch one coach in Portugal and one in holland are the main contenders it’s likely to be one of those 4

if the crowd sings Poch name and Kane makes it known He wants him in order to stay I can see Poch getting it but right now it’s far from a sure thing

I would really hope neither of those things have any bearing whatsoever on the decision, should Conte be sacked now or let go at the end of the season.

Wenger had managed a decade in France, in a period when the French league was possibly the second best in the world behind Italy.

I was a season ticket holder at PSG at the time (just to see Safet Susic and Hoddle, once a year) and I can tell you it wasn't even close to being the 5th best league in Europe. It was certainly more entertaining but it wasn't competitive at all. Marseilles bought their way to a couple of league wins and the absolute star of the league was Jean-Pierre Papin, a guy who couldn't get a look in at AC Milan.

Most teams had a couple of flashy individuals - mostly Africans. Some of them were incredibly talented (Susic, Hoddle, Fofana, Bazdarevic...) but the rest of the league was made-up of very poor players and the level of refereeing was beyond comical. Maybe it looked cool on highlight reels but it was far from good.

Did you catch Valderama at Montpellier, or slightly different timeline? Used to love him!

Yeah, I almost forgot about him. If he'd been Brazilian, he'd be considered one of the best of all times. He played one season with Cantona there, I think. All talented individuals working with managers who, for the most part, had zero clue what they were doing and club owners who'd sack them if they didn't enjoy the last game. Wenger is one of the very few managers who had any sense back then and when he realised the league was rigged (after losing a very important game against Marseilles with some very suspect performances from a couple of his players), he took his ball and went home.

It was a good place to be for such classy players: they didn't have to force their talent to look world-class and, at the same time, there was very little pressure on them. Susic famously turned down the chance to sign for Juventus. He was happy to have fun at PSG without running himself to the ground (or using forbidden 'medicine' which was common practice in Italy at the time).

A lot of people having faith that the board will hire Poch (who I would definitely want back) or potentially going for someone like De Zerbi (looks good thus far but only had one season).

This is also the same board that after sacking Jose, took 3 months to end up at Nuno. I really worry what the decision making process is behind closed doors. Everyone could see Conte should have probably been sacked by now, we're now at Wednesday after his press conference rant and still none the wiser.

Conte's comments at the weekend could well be looked at in a similar way to the "painful rebuild" in the near future.
Combine those comments and it highlights the scale of the task.
If the board are now willing to take that on board and show the bravery poch wanted we might start to move forward again.
