It honestly comes across as if Conte is afraid to bring on Danjuma in case he is proven wrong.

But let's forget about Danjuma for a moment, seriously what does Moura do when he comes on? He tends to beat 2 or 3 players and then loses the ball down a blind alley. When was the last time he really looked dangerous and close to changing a game?

I think of Richarlison's performance today, when was the last time we saw anything close to that from Moura.

Moura cannot play in any structured system
He isn’t that kind of player
He runs head down (fans seem to like that)
And he does work hard
But he can’t pass very well to shoot well for that matter
Quite key skill gapsj imo

Only 11 can play, but hasn't Conte complained about lacking players on the bench to make changes?

We had Doherty and royal at RWB who didn't fit Conte's style.
We get in Spence who likes to attack and take players on.... Stuck on the bench.
Royal has spent a lot of his own money to improve his game.

Conte wanted a quick winger who can take on players. We sent Gil out on loan as he wasn't tall/strong enough and brought in Danjuma who is playing even less games.

Yes he did complain about not having options on the bench. Last season. He has since said that the squad has improved but now we need to add quality.

Spence he said is one for the future.

As for royal spending money?

Conte also said last summer that if a player goes out they have to be replaced.

Yep, because when

- he waited for fudging ever to play Sarr -> he was wrong
- he refused to bench Son for Richi -> he was wrong
- Probably wrong on Gil & Spence as well
- Wrong on Perisic, probably was wrong on Zanilio (since absolutely no one wanted him)

Playing Lucas is fudging criminal, we know he's leaving, he isn't in form, he is no better than playing literally anyone else there

From the clubs POV you'd want to be seeing if Danjuma is worth the option to buy you have negotiated on the loan. ie trying to improve our future. The other two in the equation, AC and Moura, won't even be here come July but are a barrier to gaining an answer to that question.
 
Still have no idea why anyone cares if he plays or not? He's a stop gap like lenglet till the summer or next manager.

You don't like conte. Fair enough. But be honest, out of a 25 man squad you can start 11. Leaving out 14 isn't spite. It's maths.

But he isn't playing because he is a club signing not a Conte signing. He said so himself nothing to do with maths.

What a load of gonads. You haven’t a clue why Conte isn’t picking him, you just whinge about Conte for absolutely anything. Conte has been questioned on here about why he hasn’t picked several players, don’t tell me they are just not picked all out of spite too:rolleyes: If the club signs a player the coach doesn’t really want or see fitting into his system, why would he play him? If you want to argue he should be getting more game then fine, but to say Conte isn’t doing that out of spite is utter nonsense…..

I agree but the explanation why most of them are not playing is they have all been naughty boys which I can't see being true, otherwise we would have been terribly unlucky to gain so many.

I'm not saying its spite but I would suspect he is more reticent to use players he deems not his choice, there does seem a pattern there, ultimately though he has hurt himself with that view IMO. As I have said previously, he created a narrower squad than he needed to at times with his ideology
