Fixture & Ticket News 2021/22

When I looked this morning there was 1 normal ticket left that could be bought and about 150 on resale via the exchange.

Assuming some sell we could have about 120 empty seats dotted around.

Would that even be noticeable? Suppose it depends if some are clumped together.
Looks like more than 120 seats available just in Park Lane…

I could make it, got nothing on tomorrow, but 120 is not the value I attach to that service/product. 40 to a maximum of 60 is what I will pay.

I know they can't sell tickets for anything less then the cost of the season ticket divided by 18, but to me it is over priced. We are on telly, the weather is nice so I can go for a ride. Nope would rather put the 160 once you add in travel and food, towards a holiday or a nice meal out.

Sorry I meant that by the time we kick off I reckon there will be about 120 tickets left, because as of this morning there was about 150 tickets available on the exchange platform.

The cost of these tickets range from about £55 up to £100+.

Lots of people won't want to go to crowded places yet. Also, I recon there's usually about 10000 foreigners who aren't able to go now. None of the stadiums have been close to full as far as I have seen, and I don't think they will for some time.

There should be a way to reduce the prices closer to the game as there used to be. Could generate half the ticket price and allow people to go enjoy it.

Yeah, ToutHub used to open to abuse but I used to pick up some cheap tickets for Cat A games back at the old stadium if I purchased within 24 hours of kick-off.

Yeah. Does seem crazy that a fan can't get half the value back, and another fan enjoy a game. Instead the seat is left empty.

I think normally its not a problem as I’ve always managed to sell on the exchange for games against all types of different levels of opposition, and normally they sell so quick too.

I think as pointed out the effects of covid on peoples mindset and foreign travel is causing this.

it means supply is up and demand is down! A bad combo!

This would probably need to go on for about 3-4 months before the club considered the lower price idea, although I suspect more likely it would need to go on all season before changes would be considered/made.

Agree with this. I tried to give away a ticket on here once as I’d rather a fan be in my seat than see it go to waste. A reduction in 25% increments should be workable through the exchange scheme, from the clubs perspective it’s a bum on a seat and potentially money spent in the ground.

Will we record the actual physical attendance tomorrow or go for the Goons /Emirates Marketing Project tickets sold count??

Wasn't intending to go to many games this year but if you can't flog a ticket to opening game of season it doesn't bode well.

I've cancelled my plans and will go now as no buyers for my tickets. Also 3 of my friends had tickets on exchange with no buyers so definitely and overabundance of supply

Not sure whether the transport issues, WHL station closed, multiple road closures in addition to the other reasons mentioned is part of the reason too

Heading across for the Chelsea game in September with a mate. Have a season ticket for me and my young lad (paid adult rate for both). Is there any way I can transfer my son's ticket to my mate without signing him up as a member?

He just needs to register on the Ticketing Site to get a Client reference number (CRN). You add him to your network and transfer the ticket to him.

Thanks a lot. Shows my technical illiteracy and stubbornness that I dingdonged around for an hour before asking for help. In the end, it was bloody easy...

On a related note, I thought looking at the City game today that we'd struggle to sell Watford and Chelsea tickets. Not much on there for those games.

They haven't opened the exchange yet.
