European Super League - Dead on arrival

Same, the big London derbies, banter between fans get me far more excited than Tottenham Vs Barcelona etc. The atmosphere will be gone because the kind of fans that create atmosphere won't be in support of Derp
Works quite well for us as we keep our derbies with Arsenal and Chelsea. Do we really care about any of the others anyway? I guess West Ham a little bit.

If they tried it, the other 14 clubs would be the first ones complaining, they are bankrolled by TV money that comes their way because of the big clubs
Not necessarily. I think we'd have to see how this one played out. It may depend on what the existing rights holders did (i.e. would Sky, BT, Bein, etc demand partial refunds?)

Spurs Twitter will become odd. Message boards are only for elderly curmudgeons these days, so will remain the preserve of “legacy fans”. But there will be so many kids globally choosing an ESL team at random and landing on Spurs.

Dumb question (maybe naive) but is this actually going to happen then? I don't like change (apart from possibly the other big change of the day).
