OMT - Tottenham Hotspur v Brentford

Do they need to socially distance if tested ahead of the game? Not sure what the rules are

There are additional measures and social distancing within grounds. That will be the case for lower league clubs too but they are probably more used to smaller entourages.

Makes you wonder why the venues weren't switched on player safety grounds as soon as the draw was made

I wonder if this will go ahead. A football ban would be an effective nudge message to get people behaving as they did in March, even if it doesn’t have much intrinsic public health value.

I agree with your views. It would signal total lockdown, whereas people seem to ignore tiering systems

Would be interesting to see what happens to the footballing calendar!

With a new lockdown just announced, I presume there won't be any football till mid Feb.

Can keep the cleaner then, that’s another difference from March. That, and the higher death rate.

Apols for the O/T, OMT gods. Consider yourselves placated with creme Anglaise.

If Liverpool are still losing after 89 minutes then I'm sure they'll put an immediate ban in place.

Would not put it past Liverpool to ask for the match to be abandoned at HT when they get back to the changing room and find out what Boris has said

COYS!!!

Jose Mourinho says tonight's Carabao Cup semi-final against Brentford is the biggest game he has faced since taking charge of Tottenham.

Excellent stuff. It's no good complaining about trophies if we're not going to treat every semi-final as huge.

We need to go all out, make the final and we at least have a chance.

Doherty will be back for Marine. I'd be happy with Aurier, I just wonder whether there is a reason why he didn't make the bench on Saturday
That was my concern as well. Gedson got on the bench... Hopefully Aurier will be back for this one.
